Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc physics is a good course and a lot of choices for pg. Exam structure is not good.in mg university questions paper is made by computer software.in early exam question paper are made by teachers

Placement Experience

Campus interview are provided by the college international companeed like MRF. Idea. Vodefone are cames for campus interview. More than 100 students get jobs through campus interview. There is no internship in our college. It was not a professional college. In kerala internships are only in professional college

College Events

In September we celebrate onam celebration. We conduct competitions like athapookalam, onam songs,vadamvali ,and in October we celebrate college union day. November we celebrate keralapiravi, in December we celebrate Christmas, in January we celebrate youthfestival and sports ,in February we celebrate our college day

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fees and exam fees. Degree course was three year course in this three year we have six semester and six university exams. For me according to my yearly income this fees structure was little expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't any scholarships. In India the scholarship are based on their cast.for my cast I haven't any scholarship but for sc/st cast students has lot of scholarships in India. Cast was the eligibility for scholarship

Campus Life

Our college union conduct sports and games (football.basket ball, baseball, cricket, badminton etc )and also conducted youthfestival. In September we celebrate onam celebration. Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful to us. And they are very friendly to us. They are very helpful to our academic studies. Our college conduct alumni and we celebrate these day.and also conduct meet up. And reunion.

Admission

Mg university Allotment, I register my name and mark scored in plus two public exam in mg university site. After that I check the allotment results in university site after some day. I got admission in Kuriakose Elias College then I visit that college with my certificate and after paying the fwest I got admission

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. I chose this coarse because i love geography. But it was not as same as i learnt in my higher secondary. But it also includes the continuation of +2 geography.The curriculum enables us for real world applications like Calculating time of different areas and the intensity of wind and weather symbols and also make us capable to identify types of rock. Actyally teaching method should be improved. Many interesting topics are turning into boring ones. They are conducting exams regularly to modify oru knowledge

Im my time 2011-2014 only the female students had to wear the uniforms. At present uniform is mandatory. I think that was not equality at nobody considered it. No girl protested against that problem.

Can reach by Bus or train( a passenger train station is present in a walkable distance). Regular transport available. Close to town area. Renowned NCC sub unit. Produced many talents be it in Academics,sports or arts, To quote one indian international football players CK Vineeth and Shahal Abdul samad were students of Sree Narayana College Kannur. Faculty of physical education was awarded the best physical education faculty award in Kerala State. Has experienced faculties in almost every departments.

Bsc physics is a demanding course. Because after completion we can select a variety of pg courses. We can do professional courses like mca mba. or it provides a wide variety of pg courses like nuclear physics. quantumn physics. and if you are intetested in geology you can do geophysics. to study about universe you can do pg in astrophysics. The benefit is that if you do pg in reputed universities or any other universities on completion of your pg in physics you have the chance to be a part of INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION as a junior scientist or DEFENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION or any other reputed institutes under the govt of india.

MY CAMPUS

I applied in Marian college, Kuttikkanam. But my 89 percentage mark didn't allow me to study there. Then I applied in kuriackose Elias college, Mannanam and now I'm studying there. My friend opt me this college. He is also studying there. I got admission through Mahatma Gandhi University website. And I got admission through merit and got seat. My 89 percentage for them was a very good mark. The course fees was also not very high. Most students don't study for model exam, but they are well prepared for the semester exams.
