Remarks

Overall rating would be 8/10. The infrastructure of the college can be improved and due to construction the roads and the ways are blocked. I think the management is satisfactory but can improve a lot. The academic section should be improved. I am glad to

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET entrance exam for joining the course of MBBS in osmania medical college. I got 95?of marks in the exam. Osmania is in the top 15 medical colleges in India and has many hospitals. A lot of things can be learned being there.

Internships Opportunities

At present I am a 2nd year student and not yet done my internship. But according to my seniors internship is time when we can have lot of exposure to knowledge.

As this is medicine all the students would love to write PG exams and then go looking for jobs.

College festivals are the most enjoying moments. They are organised by final year students and their experience matters a lot.

There are many scholarships based on intermediate marks and are satisfying.

Girls and boys are becoming good friends and maintain and awesome college. Campus life is awesome.

New hostels are being built and the old ones are also satisfying. Sharing hostels and an annual fees of 3000 is to be paid.

Seniors are good and kind to us ane we are the same to our juniors. Friendly relationships.

A College to Look After- CAIMS

Course Curriculum Overview:

College offers two courses.MBBS and Nursing. The faculty is not that friendly with students. Exams are conducted every week. Two Internals are conducted in an academic year and it's difficult to pass those exams.

Medicos experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course as I wanted to be a good doctor in India. The course's total duration is 5 yearand 6 month including internship. All department have almost 30 faculties. They teaches us theory in projector at lecture hall. Practical classes are conducted separately in individual department. We have to pass out all the subjects unlike engineering colleges there is no option of having backlogs if we fail in our exams,and so have to pass all the exams without fail. During the course, which is pretty chill during the regular days, and have exams every semester (6months) which are held by the college itself and the finals are held by the University every 3-5 semesters (no. of sems change every year ).

STUDENTS CHOICE

Placement Experience:

My plans after graduating to secure pg seat in one of the top hospitals and after an internship there's an option for writing exam of neet to get qualified for it and there's more percentage of getting placements from Gandhi are high compared to other colleges and much pass percentage is from Gandhi.

Government institute, well renowned

Remarks:

A very good college overall but there are some demerits also. Due to recent construction there is no playground. In the college everywhere lots of renovation is going onvdue to which there is lot of sound all the time even during lectures but this all is temporary.

Obgy OMC

I also applied for Gandhi medical College,kakatiya medical College and esi medical College for obgy post graduation. I choose osmania as my first option because 1) we get many chances to do lscs than other colleges mentioned above as per my research of colleges. 2)i completed my mbbs from osmania,so Im well versed with the conditions of hospital. Then I opted for Gandhi as 2nd option because Gandhi medical College also has good amount of exposure and facilities are better than osmania medical College as it is new college in comparison to osmania. Gandhi medical College has advantage of getting high risk cases mainly.you will get privilage to various other cases in obstetrics.But the hands on is less than osmania. As a pg in surgical branch we need to have more hands on than exposure to high risk cases. I didn't opted for any other college because all I want is to do obgy from osmania medical College To join the college,you need to attend neet pg exam conducted every year once.For securing obgy pg seat in osmania your rank should be 3k to 6k ....Read More
