The College provides bachelor's honours degree in Bengali English history political science, geography,arts with various combinations. There are internals lab assignments practicals and semester examination.

College Events

There are many events celebrated in the college like the annual sports, cultural meet,debates quiz competitions essay writing and many more. There is also celebration of republic day and independence day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure goes like these:- Bengali hons, English Hons, history, political science and philosophy hons-1635 Geography hons-9285 Sanskrit and education hons-1735 B.A general with combination-1710 B.A general with Geography-1810.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship facilities and loan facilities like the national merit scholarship,state merit scholarship,OBC scholarship,SC ST scholarship. For loan facility you need to have the Bonafide certificate.

Hostel Facilities

The college has good hostel facilities separately for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is good and purified drinking water and good mess food is available at a prices. There is also common room for entertainment.

Admission

I got admission into this college through the higher secondary examination marks. For each department the criteria for admission is different. In certain case the percentage required is 45% ,50% and 55%.

Faculty

The faculty of our English department is very good and they are very proficient in teaching,I mean they understand the real psyche of the students and do things accordingly.They are friendly and easily accessible.

Mbbs - more than just a degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. The university exams are held in end of the year and we don't have semesters the course is perfect as in wise it's just would ve been better if we would get more time after the syllabus is over to our final exams

A short and concise review on Dr. BRAMCH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year we have a set of three internal assessments which assess our knowledge about the specific topics being taught and how caught up are we with the subject. The third internal mimics the final university exam pattern. This form of assessment is quite efficient and beneficial because it helps us to study on a regular basis because we need to pass two out of the three internals to gain eligibility for our final university examination. Apart from the internals we also have formative assessments after every unit of a chapter which is very beneficiary because it helps to keep topics memorised for longer durations. The difficulty of the internal examination ranges from easy to moderate, there are very rare cases of the exam to be extremely difficult.

College considered as a last option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.

Remarks:

The only thing I disliked was un-availability of my favourite drink i. e tea after 12 am since the hostel canteen used to close by that time. Rest everything in my college and hostel were the best in all sense.

Eligibility: You need to clear NEET and at least clear the qualifying cut-off to be eligible to take admission in this college.
