Remarks

It is a good college with lots of facilities and has experienced faculty members. The infrastructure is good and the students are very cooperative. It is a good place to pursue graduation. The surrounding area is quite relaxing as the college is situated on foothill, which makes it more beautiful.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum of all the Engineering Institutions are outdated except few colleges in India is now outdated. Some Free Elective courses are quite helpful for developing and learning new skills such as machine learning, deep learning, IOT, Artificial Intelligence etc.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide any internships currently but they will provide job opportunities in final year only. You have to approach or send the applications to the organizations for getting an internships.

Placement Experience

2.5

In 2017, there were approximately 350 out of 560 students are placed in reputed companies. In fact, the placements are totally depends upon the talent of students and the performance given by them in the interview, there were no chance of partiality. The highest salary package offered by the organisation in the campus recruitment is near about 7 lacs per annum, and the average salary offered is about 3.5 to 3.8 lacs.

College Events

3.5

From the mid of January, Extracurricular activities in the college will be started such as University level Games, Science Projects, Robo Race, Traditional Day, Gathering, as well as the Campus recruitments too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per our Great Caste Based Reservation System of India, Backward category students have feasible fee structure ranging from Rs300/- to Rs7500, and in case of General Category student it ranges to 83000/- per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got the admission in this institute in TFWS Quota i.e Tuition Fees Weiver Scheme as I belongs to General Category. In this scheme, all the Tuition Fees for the student will be zero and the total fees will get reduced to 7500 per year.

Campus Life

5

From the mid of January, Extracurricular activities in the college will be started such as University level Games, Science Projects, Robo Race, Traditional Day, Gathering, as well as the Campus recruitments too.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel Infrastructure of the college is not that much of good quality as Main building of the college. Third and Final Year Hostels are quite in good condition as compared to the First and Second Year Hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an Annual Alumni Meeting of our college in the month of December every year. In last year, Alumni meeting from 1993 batch were organized in our college in December 2018. They are very helpful in nature and they guided us.

Exam Structure

Exam Structure is maintained by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. In odd Semester, Exams are conducted during the period of November-December and in Even Semester, Exams are conducted during the period of April-May.

Admission

I got the admission from the DTE's CAP Round Process in the year 2017-2018. I applied in Tuition Fees Weiver Scheme (TFWS) as I belongs to General Category. I was alloted to this institute in 2nd round of the admission process.

Faculty

4.5

The teaching staff of the college is highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and the remaining are M.E or M.Sc. holders. They teach us from the books recommended by the university and also from the Lectures of IITians from the projector for the better understanding. In the academic year 2017-2018, Civil and Mechanical intake was full. The computer and mechanical department has 70% intake completed. Electronics and electrical departments are some lower students than the actual intake even the departments are well-equipped and all the departments are accredited by National board of Accreditation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Other non-tech companies like JCB, Tata Hitachi, and railway companies also visit the campus for core branches. Approximately 90% of students get placed in this college according to their skills. My plan after completing my degree is to get a job in a top company like Google, Microsoft, IBM, or NVIDIA and settle abroad with a luxurious life permanently.
