Course is ok but syllebus is huge. Geography is combination of statistics politics economics mathematics science physics. Many tough matter is included in it .but the subject is very interesting.ocne you can go it its inner side you can enjoy it. In our time yearly examination was held.

In our college there is no placement and job oportunities as it is general degree college, no our college does not provide any internsheep but as i am schedule caste i had got that scholarship in every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive.i had expend About 30 thousand in three years.

Admission

I got admited by merit list after 12 th result. At first the merit list was published, my name was top of that list.then verification was held.then i got admited, i had to gave 5000 rupees at first then at the end of every year monthy fees and lab charges were taken.

Faculty

Our college is top college in our locality, good percentage of students got chances in honours subject.normal studens got chances in pass subjects but nearby mahestala or newalipur college is also very good as our college.

Presidency University: A hope of light but needs a lot of upgradation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Department of Bengali is one of the oldest Bengali department in the state. It offers undergraduate honours and postgraduate courses. Recently, they have started PhD courses as well. The Bengali department is actively engaged in research in hot topics in literature. The curriculam of Presidency university is most diverse among all other University, colleges in the state. It begins with very basic topics at the first year and ends with very specific research level papers at the final year. The syllabus is so advance that bachelors students can compare themselves with the masters level students after completeing the course. I will mention the bachelor course curriculam in summary: Semester I- Prachin Bangla Sahitya O Bangalir Itihas sandhan, Bangla bhasar itihas o bhasatotto, Semester II- Prak chaitanya juger bangla sahityer itihas, Madhyajuger bangla sahityer itihas o kabyapath, Semester III- Shorosh o soptodosh shotabdir samaj: itihas o chaitanyadeb, Ashtadosh shatabdir samaj sangkriti, changa-alanlkar o prof sangsodhan, Semester IV- Adhunik juger udbhab, gadya o probondho sahitya, kabya-kabitae itihas, natoker itihas o rupbhed, Semester V- Bangla Upanyas, Bangla chotogolpo, Rabindranath, Semester VI- Unish o Bish shataker bangla samaj songskriti o sahitya, bhinna bhasar sahityer itihas o tar obhighat, bharatiya alangkar shatra, sahitya o shilpo. Other than these compulsory courses, there are lot of exceptional elective courses that attracted me more towards joining this prestigious university. Since Presidency University select specific students through their difficult entrance tests, the semester exams should not be difficult for the students, but there are some papers in the course which needs to delt with extra care and attention to get extra marks.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality.
