Entrance Preview

Marwari College internal exam. 70 %,It is one of the best college in Ranchi which offered new courses at that time. Which includes BCA (One of the vocational course at that time).

Internships Opportunities

Many companies came including Infosys, TCS and Wipro technologies .I got selected for Wipro and they offered monthly 9 thousand stipend for the first year.

Placement Experience

It was great and today its been a four years and I am continuing the same. It gave me the start in the software industry which I required at the time to the most. And because of that start today I am in a better position. All credit goes to Wipro for this.

College Events

I participated in Cultural and technical events organized by my college. Cultural incudes fresher party and welcome party organized for us during the first year.And technical event includes awareness program about the current IT and technical opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

No Loans facility availed as the fee was less.It was yearly fee structure and not charged much if compared with other BCA courses available in other colleges or private institutes.

Think before doing anything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

It is told that students are ready for placement after sem 5 but in our case no as such placement was provided by the college But the history says that the average placement package is of around 4 lpa where the max package was of 8 lpa There are many options after this course completion where all the ideas and strategies Will be provided by the college

Remarks:

My college is not so bad. Proffesors are highly knowledgeable and friendly. Classrooms and labs are well equipped. College hostel are also good. Need some improvement in college infrastructure and placement cell.

Remarks:

This college is really good for economically week students. And it have daily classes too. In other colleges you will dont get the daily classes. But a negative is, you can see some professors who will take bribe.
