Law School BHU: The Judge producing Factory of North India

Positive-It is the best institute for preparing judiciary examinations.The most of the students are come to this school for this purpose. This institute is also beat for job opportunities in PSUs and corporate sector. Negative-There is no culture for litigation practice among students.

The whole course of LL.B.(Hons.) has been devided into 6 semestets.2 semesters each year have a different syllabus for every semester.Each subject has 2 types of marking scheme.i.e.theory of 70 marks and sessional of 30 marks.This 30 marks obtained(mid semester examination plus viva-presentation).

Although this school is widely famous for producing judges.but unfortunately there is not satisfactory placement ratio from this school.But even there are Few students each year got placed in different PSUs and corporate sector as a legal officer. This law school provide internship twice in evety year in different Courts of india.

The law school of BHU conducted a number of events during the course in which no. of seminars ,moot Courts and different curriculur activities.Name of some famous events are.Constitution Day Celebration,Srijan, inter-college moot Court competition,freshers etc.

Since this is a public institution,so this is highly subsidies.So fee structure is very feasible so any person from any social class can afford it if he is meritorious.Fee for per year is approx 2500 to 3000.If you are hostler ,then it becomes a little more.Also if you take admission through paid seat,the fee structure become a little bit expensive but not so much in comparison to other institute for same course.

I do not know about any such scholarship which our faculty offers to us. But various state governments provides scholarship for the students belongs to that state.Central Government also provide a scholarship to the students who belong to minority.

There are maximum no. of opportunities provided by the institute for their students to show there talent in different fields like music,drama, swimming,sports,debates and quizs.Institite also provides rewards for the students who gives there best in their fields.

Our faculty, from time time called our alumni to share there experience of there field where they are currently working.They talked to us and encourage us and share their experiences.This is very helpful.And they also provide us opportunities to work with them as an intern.

Through entrance examination conducted by BHU administration.Which is notified every year in the month of February and the examination is conducted in the month of may in which 120 questions are asked.And these questions are categoried in GS ,math, current,Legal aptitude, Constitution,english and hindi.

It is one of the best institute in india for legal education.Currently its ranking is 5th(according to India Today magzine) and 6th(according to outlook magzine).This institute is famous for delivering best education and making no of judges in different states judiciary examinations every year.
