College was good, teaching staff and syllabus is good but there is lack of resources and practical knowledge.

CLT, LSAT and entrance of maharishi dayanand university. My aim from starting is to become a lawyer, i don,t get admission in national law university therefore i took admission in mdu.

Although there is high scope of research in law but the course structure does not dominate the research but provides full knowledge of law. It depend on student how he/she analyse the course structure as a research or for the normal knowledge. Some sudents study deeply and love the certain subjects which also encourages the research but there is no scope of research if student is not intrested.

No we have to do internship on personal basis. Although it is necessary to show the internship certificate for 15 days in the last year but college don,t provide the internship we have to do on personal basis.

There is very low opportunities for the placement although there is seperate wing for the placement but it is common for all the courses present in the university due to which there is very less chances of getting placed with the help of university. The companies came on by own to the university but there is no effort of the university to provide placement opportunities.

There is no many festivals which are celebrated in the college but there are common festivals of the whole university like youth festival every year ,international law day,independence day,republic day,green day,moot court competions, maharishi dayanand birthday, other poetry programmes etc.

The fees structure of my college is very low and inexpensive. It can be afforded by everyone as it is very low. We have to pay annaully and in which it is approximately rupees 3500/- only which is very very low comparing to the other colleges. It is totally funded by the government student just have to pay ?3500 as a tuition and other fee expensed annually.

Stipend given to the obc and sc/st students. No scholarships for general category students. Every obc student get the stipend of rs 4000/- every year and a st/sc student will get rs 9000 if he had applied for the scholarship.

Gender ratio is almost equal and other sports facilties are very good and economic status of university is very very good. Although there is no election but political parties are still active in the university. Any bad thing with any student create a high massacre in the university.

Hostel and mess facilities are of very high standard. Each student will get a single room and furniture. We have to pay ?12000 annualy out of which ?6000 will get refunded at the end of year. Mess is coperative and mess money is decided by the student com

Alumni and senior students are verygood and they are highly helpful. Although alumni is slow working but there work is not bad. And seniors are very coperative and they helpin each and every matter.

The department follows the semester system according to which there is sessional of 10 marks every semester in which one question have to be attempted by the student and 5 marks is for attendance and 5 for behaviour and other 80 marks is for the main pape

The teacher staff in my college is highly qualified and have great knowledge of law but there is lack of resources in the college. Although labs are not necessary in the law course but there is very less practical knowledge as there is very less moot cour
