Remarks

The college has bad reputation for its disciplines Because all the good and bad students gets admission in this college gets out as the best well disciplined students There is no chance of bunking classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college syllabus is under MAKAUT That's why all the exam pattern and the syllabus are similar same as any other MAKAUT affiliate colleges Basic exam pattern is followed same as any under graduation engineering college all over INDIA

Placement Experience

The college provides a full 100% placement guarantee because of the students which comes out from there are well behaved , well educated and well knowledge other than any private colleges And it also provides internships programs which has a location radius of all over the world

College Events

Tech Fest Cultural Fest Freshers party Seminars Workshops Conference (National/ International) Etc and many more events are organised by the college and also by the students of the college Nest ranking events are organised in this college

Fee Structure And Facilities

For engineering:- ( 45000-50000 ) per semester For BBA , BCA :- ( 30000-35000) per semester Same as every other colleges in west bengal This college provides best education within a less pocket pinch.

The college also provides good scholarship for needed students and have a lone system for all students for the whole course. For any type of help Administration officer is available all time and all the facilities are also helpful

Through WBJEE exam After completing the counciling process I got the chance to study in this excilent college After that took all my documents to adminstration office of IEM (Ashram Building , SDF more , Sector 5) And admission done

Faculty

This college have the best faculty in all streams it may be engineering or BBA , BCA and MBA Due to which it is top ranked private college in all over West Bengal. Friendly faculties are present all over the campus

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Well other than that I definitely put Techno Main , Heritage Institute of Technology, Jalpaiguri Government, kalyani Government and Haldia Institute of Technology too . But the rank didn't allow me to get my desired branch that is CSE in kalyani and jalpaiguri, so I had to close from the private ones and if you have to pick the best one in Kolkata which was also not far waya from my hometown , definitely you choose IEM , as it definately has a good placement track record and good curriculum. Well you can get into this college through WBJEE(which they didn't took this year ) , IEMJEE and direct admission too . But direct admission requires some extra donation amounts too . So prefer qualifying the exams ....Read More

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. This college admission procedure takes 2 days 1st admission to the college it will take 6 hours. 2nd makaut registration will take next 4 to 5 hours.
