Remarks

We had many field visits for various reasons. Sometimes it was farmers training program, sometimes it was a nursery sowing. We also had yoga classes. Some of my batchmates also volunteered for NSS scoutings.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The UG program in Agriculture covers many disciplines ranging from Agronomy, VeterinaryScience, Forestry and Fisheries, etc. During my four year course I learned all of these disciplines in detail.

College Events

4

Vanavarayar Institute is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU). The academic and the corporate exposure is pretty decent. I learned a lot from the teachers and the course curriculum. It shaped my career in a professional way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One year fee for my UG program was 23,000 INR which is pretty much affordable. Especially for the students from the economically weaker background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships worth 8 lac are distributed across the institute to the deserving students. Yuvashakti Award is awarded specifically to the outstanding female performers on women’s day.

Campus Life

4

It was a dream place to be in regards to academics. Apart from that, campus life was pretty mundane. More emphasis is paid towards the learning.

Admission

Admission to the UG program is granted on the basis of counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU). The university will call the students for the counselling process on the basis of the merit list.

Faculty

3

All the faculty members were qualified and maintained a standard in terms of quality of teaching. Most of our faculty members hold a phd degree.
