Thoughts about my College

The college is good as per the academics concern but the class hours are too prolonged, and there are less holidays given to us. Apart from this everything is fine. College has nice peaceful environment and cricket ground and courts for respective sports.

The Curriculum seems fine to me, but only a little studious. And working hours are long when compared to any other government colleges, there is one semister exam at the end of every six months and 2 mid exams in between every 2 semisters. The semister exam is for 60 marks and internals are for 40 marks and attendance carries 2 marks

Placements are very good in our college, almost 80% of the students get placed every year be it in productive companies or service companies. College provides internship opportunities in partnership with internshala app. All the internships which are available there can be done by the students and a preference is given to vignan students

There are many events celebrated in the college. Freshers Party Krishnastami event Sankranti function Yuvatarang Vista Christmas functions And many other festivals are celebrated and often events are conducted by CII for the students involvement

The Fee Structure was feasible until last year but at present according to me it's a little expensive, the college charges over 1L per year and as a middle class guy it's a little burden to the parents to pay such a high amount, but it's okay for the creamy layer. It's a good deal in this fee structure to study here

The college provides scholarships to the top merit students every year who achieve highest marks in each engineering branch. For others government Provides the scholarships and makes their study here feasible.

There are labs for every integrated subject. Labs are quite good and there is a complete lab based subject called EE [engineering exploration] for 1st year students. We are allowed to play sports everyday and 3 hours in a week are officially given to sports from the curriculum

I have never got to know about the Alumni Network of our college. As per our seniors the alumni network is good the seniors are always helpful and kind and be willing to help and uplift their juniors

To get admission here I have written EAMCET exam, which is state level entrance exam for UG courses in AP and have scored well in EAMCET examination and then I appeared for the counseling rounds and selected this college

Faculty are experienced and most of them have good knowledge in their respective fields. The faculty puts every effort to make the subject clear to a student but it's upto the student to take the input, it rathers seems like a bit spoon feeding to me
