I’d definitely lean towards Amity University Noida for B.Com over LPU. Amity seems to have a more supportive faculty and a well-rounded curriculum that prepares you better for the job market. While LPU does have a vibrant campus life with multiple fests, Amity's focus on internships and placements is a significant advantage; they attract big companies for campus recruitment, which is crucial for real-world exposure. Overall, if you're looking for a more comprehensive educational experience with better placement opportunities, Amity University Noida would be my pick.

Alright, here’s my honest take on this question. I’m not biased since I graduated from Amity University (B.Com Hons.) and am currently pursuing my MBA at LPU. It's only been 4 months at LPU, and I can confidently say it surpasses Amity. And not just because of the 600-acre campus or the parking facilities.

Here are the reasons why I prefer LPU over Amity:

• From day one at LPU, the focus is on preparing you for placements, not just boosting your grades. They provide real-time interview experiences (which I never had even once during my 3 years at Amity).
• Each semester includes classes on Soft Skills and Quantitative Aptitude in the curriculum. This not only prepares you for placements but also equips you for competitive exams (never happened at Amity).
• To enhance your English, optional classes are organized every Saturday (not once offered at Amity).
• LPU offers numerous live projects, field studies, internships, and part-time jobs. For instance, a group of students in the 2nd year of MBA made Rs.8 lakhs in profits from the stock market while learning to trade.

In summary, LPU provides a more comprehensive and practical approach to education compared to Amity.

I think Amity University Noida is the smarter financial choice over LPU for a B.Com (Hons.) degree. While both colleges offer a solid curriculum, Amity provides a more engaging campus life with regular fests and extracurricular activities, which adds to the overall experience. The placement opportunities at Amity are also more promising, with over 8400 offers made, compared to LPU's limited options for B.Com students.

Although LPU has a structured fee of around Rs.4,20,000, Amity’s tuition fees are more manageable and offer scholarships based on caste categories, making it a better value for money in the long run. If you’re looking for a balanced approach to academics and practical exposure, go for Amity; if you want a more traditional route with limited job prospects, LPU might fit your needs.

LPU is superior in nearly every aspect. It boasts better placements, a more impressive campus, and superior infrastructure. The placements are improving year after year. Recently, around 600 companies visited the campus for placement drives, with Goldman Sachs being one of them.

For students participating in placement drives, the University goes above and beyond to assist them in securing jobs. Ranked in the top 100 by the NIRF, this University is like a mini world in itself, featuring a sprawling 600-acre campus. It includes swimming pools, multiple basketball courts, volleyball courts, and much more.

The curriculum at LPU is rich and well-thought-out. The University ensures it stays updated with the latest trends. If companies are seeking specific skills during placements, students at LPU will likely have already covered those in their classes. In simple terms, they prepare you thoroughly for placements.
