I’d say going for a BALLB Hons. from LPU is worth it if you’re serious about law. The course structure is challenging, and the exams require a lot of preparation, but the faculty is very supportive. The placement opportunities are growing, with good companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The semester fees are 78,000, but scholarships make it easier for some students. I’m also looking forward to completing my internship, which I hear helps a lot with job placements. Overall, I feel positive about my journey here, especially with the upcoming placements in 2026!

LPU's Law School is ranked 24th among all Government and Private Universities in India. Studying from books alone is not the essence of Law. The university leverages the industry and academic experience of its faculty to equip students for the modern, complex, and challenging legal landscape.

LPU is ranked second in India by Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2021, and Aspire magazine from the India Today group has recognized it as one of the top universities of the future. In 2020, LPU received an Employability award from Aspiring Mind for being the best placement institute in India. Additionally, it was ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review.

So, placement at LPU is not an issue. Whether it's BALLB or any other program, LPU stands firmly with students to help them secure placements.

Experienced faculty members identify the potential of each individual and nurture it. Law students are trained to identify legal issues from hypothetical scenarios and explore various legal consequences, preparing them to become proficient legal professionals.

The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine ‘Higher Education Review’ has acknowledged the Law School at LPU.

Doing my BALLB Hons. from LPU has been a mixed experience for me. The faculty-to-student ratio is decent, and each subject has its own dedicated teacher, which is great. The teaching quality is excellent, and they really help us with our critical thinking and legal arguments. The fees are 78,000 per semester, but they do offer various scholarships, which are quite helpful. Internships are also available, which I think is crucial for practical learning. I’ve seen some of my classmates already getting job offers, so I’m hopeful for the upcoming placement season in 2026.
