Which is better MAIT IPU or IIIT NR?
MAIT is ranked 251 among the best engineering colleges in India by NIRF. This institute is popular for its B.tech and MBA courses. MAIT offers a b.tech degree in CSE, MAE, EEE, IT, ME, and ECE with CSE being the foremost popular one.
IIIT Naya Raipur offers a b.tech degree in CSE, ECE, and DSAI together with M.tech and Ph.D. degrees for some branches.
Admission:
MAIT:
- MAIT accepts the IPU CET exam or JEE Mains exam ranking for admission in b.tech courses.

Which is better, IIEST Shibpur for civil engineering or IIIT Raipur for CSE?
There is no comparison between IIIT Raipur and IIEST Shibpur for Engineering. IIEST Shibpur is a much older and well established college than IIIT Raipur. Being a student of IIEST Shibpur myself, I can confidently say that the college is much superior when it comes to engineering.
- IIEST offers decent placements due to its strong alumni network and reputation among people.
- According to recent placement statistics, many top recruiters visited during the placement drive including Microsoft, Vedanta, Wipro, Cognizant, Godrej, HSBC Technologies, and many others giving the highest package of INR 39 LPA.
- Lastly, we can say that though IIIT Raipur may be known for its brand it does not stand on the same ranking as the old engineering departments of IIEST.

IIITNaya Raipur and IIITDM Jabalpur are affiliated by UGC. Both institutes offer admission in on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main and for M.Tech, a valid score in GATE is required. IIIT Naya Raipur offers foreign internship programs of 6 months duration for 20 students

B.Tech
- According to JEE Main score, shortlisted candidates will be offered seats based on JoSSA counseling.
- One must have scored 50% marks with Physics and Chemistry in their intermediate examination.
- IIT offers 60 seats for the B.Tech ECE program.
- The process of counseling is based on the candidate's merit in the written exam and the selected options during online option filling.
M.Tech
- The applicant must be GATE qualified and have passed the B.Tech or M.Sc with at least 60% marks
- For M.Tech, 35 % of the seats are reserved for All India Quota, 15 % for NTPC Quot, and 50% for Chattisgarh State Quota.
IIITDM Jabalpur
- For admission in B.Tech CS, the applicant must have a valid score in JEE Main, however, for M.Tech, a score in GATE is scored.
- The application fee is INR 325.
- All qualifying examination documents will be accepted in PDF form only.
- The applications for admission are accepted through the official websites of GOAPS where the applicant has to register to create a new registration.

IIITDM Jabalpur

Both institutes offer scholarships to the students based on the academic scores, and the student’s category (As per govt rule).
Which one to choose, CSE at IIIT Raipur or metallurgy at NIT Raipur?
Metallurgy at NIT Raipur is a much better option than CSE at IIIT Raipur. The reason for this being, NIT Raipur is a well-established institution so you will have better chances of getting placed than in IIIT Raipur, no matter which branch you opt for.
According to the recent placement highlights, the average package offered at IIIT Raipur was INR 7.50 LPA whereas, at NIT Raipur, it was INR 9.5 LPA.
NIT Raipur provides a sliding option, too. So, even if you are not getting CSE in the first place, you can easily change from whichever branch you are into CSE within two years.

These 4 IIITs are the only IIITs that are better than NITs in terms of research, curriculum, and holistic development.
IIIT Lucknow, although a new IIIT, has established its name among the top IIITs. Its high ranking is because of its excellent coding culture and thus many product companies visit it. These 4 IIITs have their own campus too and charge high fees because of the top-notch faculty and research resources they offer.
All the remaining IIITs are in the development stage and should not be given consideration. It’s better to choose the top 7 or 8 NITs than these developing IIITs.
