The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) has announced admission to its Master’s Degree Programmes. Admission is open for candidates whose name is on the merit list for the ICAR examination. The course fee is INR 19,850

The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences has announced admission to its Master’s Degree Programmes (M.F.Sc. & M.Tech.) for AY 2025. Eligible candidates must visit the WBUAFS campus on November 13th with the required documents including the Secondary Examination Admit Card, Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and more.

WBUAFS Master’s Degree Program Important Admission Dates

Dates for admission, registration, and commencement of the program is given below:

Date of Registration and Commencement of Semester November 19th, 2024

NOTE: The Physical Reporting and Admission time is 11 AM to 3 PM.

Payment details On the day of admission, the chosen applicants must deposit cash via bank challan at the Union Bank of India branch in Belgachia, which is exclusively situated on the university campus.

WBUAFS Master’s Degree Program Documents Required

Selected candidates must carry with them the following listed documents on the date of admission.

  • One postcard-sized color photo and six current passport-sized photos,
  • ICAR's AIEEA (PG)-2024 Rank Card, administered by NTA,
  • Admit Card for the ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2024 Rank Card
  • ICAR Provisional Admission Letter created online,
  • A self-attested copy of your birth certificate or secondary exam admit card as proof of age
  • Self-attested copies of the secondary exam mark sheet, the higher secondary (10+2) exam mark sheet, and the certificate
  • Self-attested copies of the Bachelor's Degree Examination PDC and Final Transcript were provided.
  • self-attested copy of the SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate in accordance with ICAR requirements (where applicable),
  • A copy of your Aadhaar card, your residence certificate, and your character certificate from the college or institution you last attended, all self-attested
  • Proclamation against ragging

In-person reporting and document verification will take place at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, WBUAFS, Vivek Bhawan, 68, K. B. Sarani, Belgachia, Kolkata – 700 037, West Bengal (nearest location: Belgachia Metro Station). Applicants may not be allowed to continue with the admissions process if they arrive after 11 AM.
