The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has rejected viral paper leak claims. Its Fact Check unit declared the circulating document fake on June 13. The advisory comes days before the NEET UG 2026 re-exam.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the test on June 21. Over 22 lakh students will appear for the exam. The test runs in one shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. The official portal for all updates is neet.nta.nic.in.

Why a Re-Exam Was Ordered
The original National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 was held on May 3. It faced widespread allegations of paper leak and irregularities. The NTA cancelled the test on May 12 after a review.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the original paper leak case. The June 21 retest will cover all registered candidates. No fresh registration window has been opened by the NTA.
