NEST 2026 scorecards are live for qualified candidates from June 25 at 9 pm. Login with the application number and password at nestexam.in to download. NISER and UM-DAE CEBS will release merit lists and counselling schedules separately.

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar has released the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 scorecards. The scorecards went live on June 25, 2026, at 9 pm. They are available on the official portal at nestexam.in. Access is restricted to qualified candidates only.
Candidates must log in with their application number and password. The application number starts with the prefix N26. The scorecard displays section-wise marks, total score, and percentile. It also shows the All India Rank (AIR) in the merit list.
NEST is jointly conducted by NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai. UM-DAE CEBS operates under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The NEST 2026 examination was held on June 6, 2026, while the result was declared on June 24, 2026.

How to Download the NEST 2026 Scorecard?
Qualified candidates can follow these steps to access their scorecard:
- Visit the official portal at nestexam.in.
- Click on the NEST 2026 Scorecard Download link.
- Enter your application number (starting with the prefix N26).
- Enter the password created during registration.
- Submit the credentials to view your scorecard.
- Download the PDF and keep a printed copy for future reference.

NEST 2026 Admissions Across NISER and UM-DAE CEBS
NEST 2026 is the gateway to Integrated MSc programmes in Basic Sciences. Admissions are offered at two premier research institutes.
- NISER Bhubaneswar offers 200 seats across its science streams.
- UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai offers 57 seats in its integrated programme.
The merit lists and admission procedures will be conducted separately by the respective institutes. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites of NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai for counselling schedules, seat allotment, and admission updates.

NEST releases scorecards only to candidates who make the merit list. To qualify, a candidate must clear two thresholds. The first is the section-wise minimum admissible score. The second is placement in the top 20 percent of all test-takers.
