The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has opened registrations for KMAT 2026 Session 2 (Kerala Management Aptitude Test) on April 27, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website cee.kerala.gov.in until May 5, 2026 at 4:00 PM. The KMAT 2026 Session 2 entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted in May 2026 across all districts in Kerala for admission to MBA courses. The application fee is INR 1,000 for General and SEBC category candidates and INR 500 for SC category candidates, while ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
The KMAT 2026 Session 2 registration provides candidates with a second opportunity to appear for the MBA entrance examination. Candidates who wish to improve their scores from Session 1 or those appearing for the first time can register for Session 2. The registration process is entirely online, and candidates must complete the application submission, fee payment, and photograph/signature upload before the deadline. Eligibility Criteria for KMAT 2026 Session 2
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration in fields such as Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or equivalent to be eligible for KMAT 2026. Candidates appearing for the final year of their qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of the admission process. There is no age restriction for applying to KMAT 2026. Both Indian and Non-Indian candidates are eligible to apply, but only Keralite candidates are eligible for all types of reservations or fee concessions.
Candidates must have attained the minimum marks stipulated for admission to the MBA course by the respective universities to which they wish to apply. Candidates should note that documents in proof of applicable eligibility such as nationality, nativity, reservations, age, and academic qualification need not be uploaded with the online application. These documents must be produced before the college/university authorities at the time of admission. Candidates are responsible for ensuring they meet all eligibility criteria before applying.
How to Apply for KMAT 2026 Session 2?
- Visit the official CEE Kerala website at cee.kerala.gov.in on your web browser.
- Navigate to the "KMAT 2026 Session 2" section or click on the online application portal link.
- Click on "Registration" to begin the application process.
- Fill in your personal details including name, date of birth, email ID, and contact number.
- Complete the application form with your educational qualifications and other required information.
- Click on the "Pay Application Fee" tab to proceed with fee payment.
- Select your payment method (Internet Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card) and complete the online payment.
- After successful payment, the "Pay Application Fee" tab will turn green, indicating successful transaction.
- Upload a recent passport-size color photograph and your signature as per specifications.
- Download the Application Acknowledgement Page and keep a copy for future reference.
Exam Pattern and Qualifying Marks
The KMAT 2026 Session 2 entrance examination will be a computer-based test of three hours duration consisting of 180 objective-type questions. Each question carries 4 marks, making the total marks 720. For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. The examination will cover four sections: English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension (50 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions), Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning (40 questions), and General Knowledge and Current Affairs (40 questions).

General category and SEBC candidates who secure a cut-off mark of 10% of total marks (72 marks and above) will be eligible for admission. SC/ST/PD category candidates who secure a cut-off mark of 7.5% (54 marks and above) will be eligible for admission to MBA courses in various universities, departments, and affiliated management colleges in Kerala. The exact date and time schedule for the examination will be notified later on the official website.
Candidates must ensure that all information provided in the application form is accurate and truthful. Applications submitting false and fabricated information will be rejected, and such candidates will be debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by CEE. Incomplete applications and applications not in accordance with instructions are liable to be rejected without further intimation.
