This counseling aims to fill vacant seats in various government and self-financing nursing colleges across the state.

• Purpose of Mop-Up Counseling: To fill vacancies that may arise due to transfers or the ongoing second phase of admission.

• Eligibility: Candidates who are listed in the Rank List or Category List for M.Sc Nursing 2024, as published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, and who meet the eligibility criteria as per Clause XIX of the M.Sc Nursing Prospectus 2024.

Eligibility for Participation

• Candidates admitted to Government merit seats in any government nursing college are not eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling for the same specialty in other government nursing colleges.

• Candidates admitted to Government merit seats in self-financing nursing colleges are not eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling for the same subject in other self-financing colleges.

• However, candidates admitted to government merit seats in a self-financing nursing college are permitted to switch to a government nursing college in the same or another subject.
