JoSAA 2026 Round Wise Cutoff Schedule

Round Cutoff Release Date
Round 1 June 13, 2026
Round 2 June 30, 2026
Round 3 July 6, 2026
Round 4 July 10, 2026

Why This Matters

Round 1 cutoffs are the tightest of the season. Closing ranks tend to widen in later rounds as upgrades free up seats. Candidates ranked just outside Round 1 cutoffs still have a fair chance in Rounds 2 to 5.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Visit josaa.nic.in and open the Current OR-CR link.
  2. Filter by your preferred institute, branch, category and quota.
  3. Note the closing rank and compare it with your JEE rank.
  4. Shortlist programmes where your rank is within the closing rank.
  5. Use Round 1 cutoffs to decide on Freeze, Float or Slide.
  6. Track Round 2 cutoffs on June 30 for upgrade chances.
Keep an Eye On

JoSAA 2026 Round 2 opening and closing ranks will be released on June 30, 2026. Candidates should track movement in CSE cutoffs at lower-ranked IITs and NITs for upgrade opportunities.
