FDDI AIST 2026 Registration Extended Till May 5; Exam May 10

The Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) has extended the registration deadline for AIST 2026 (All India Selection Test) till May 5, 2026 for all undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2026 in paper-based format across 38 cities in India. FDDI is a premier design institute under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in footwear design, fashion design, leather goods design, and retail management. The AIST 2026 entrance examination will be conducted for admission to B.Des, BBA, M.Des, and MBA programmes across 12 FDDI campuses located in different parts of India. FDDI AIST 2026 Exam Pattern

The FDDI AIST 2026 entrance examination will be conducted in paper-based format with a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. The examination duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test comprises five main sections: Analytical Ability, Design Aptitude, General Awareness, Comprehension, and Grammar Usage/Business Communication. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The examination tests candidates' aptitude in design thinking and creative problem-solving.

The exam is designed to assess candidates' ability to understand design principles, visual communication, and creative thinking. Questions are based on the CBSE curriculum and general knowledge.
