The Central University of South Bihar has released the PG Admission 2026-27 second cutoff list. Selected candidates must pay the admission fee on the SAMARTH portal between June 23 and June 29 to block their seats.

The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has released the second cutoff list for the Postgraduate (PG) Admission 2026-27 on its official website at cusb.ac.in. Eligible candidates can now block their seats by paying the admission fee. The payment window is open from June 23 to June 29, 2026.

The fee must be paid online through the SAMARTH admission portal at cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in/pg. Candidates who miss this window may lose their allotted seat. Admission to every programme is granted strictly on the basis of the CUET (PG) 2026 score in the relevant Question Paper Code.

How to Block Your Seat in the CUSB PG Second Cutoff?

Selected candidates must complete the seat blocking process online. The university has clarified that offline requests through email or phone will not be accepted.

  1. Visit the official SAMARTH portal at cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in/pg.
  2. Log in using the registered application credentials.
  3. Check the second cutoff status and the allotted programme.
  4. Pay the admission fee, which covers the one-time fee and the first semester fee.
  5. Download and save the payment confirmation for future reference.

Candidates who pay the admission fee but do not secure the cutoff in this round stay on the waitlist. They are auto-considered for the next round, subject to seat availability.

Who Should Check the Second Cutoff?

The second cutoff is meant for candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round. It also applies to fresh applicants who were waitlisted earlier. Selection still depends on the CUET (PG) 2026 score in the prescribed question paper code for each programme.

The registration fee paid at the application stage is strictly non-refundable. General, OBC and EWS candidates paid Rs 500 per programme. SC, ST and PwD candidates paid Rs 200 per programme.

Why This Matters

CUSB conducts up to three admission rounds for its PG programmes. The second cutoff is often the last realistic chance for many waitlisted candidates. Missing the June 29 deadline can lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to the SAMARTH portal and verify your second cutoff status.
  2. Confirm the allotted programme and the applicable admission fee.
  3. Arrange the fee amount and pay it online before June 29, 2026.
  4. Keep all academic documents, CUET PG scorecard and ID proof ready.
  5. Save the payment receipt and admission confirmation as proof.
  6. Contact the admission office at 0631-2229530 or [email protected] for any query.
Keep an Eye On

CUSB will release the third round PG cutoff on July 3, 2026. Waitlisted candidates should track the SAMARTH portal closely for further updates.
