CEED 2026 Result: How to Download Scorecard

Your CEED 2026 scorecard is only available online through the official portal at ceed.iitb.ac.in. You need your registered email ID and password to log in. The download window closes on July 31, 2026 — there is no extension and no alternative way to get the scorecard after that date.

Follow these steps to download your CEED 2026 scorecard:

1. Go to the official CEED website at ceed.iitb.ac.in.
2. Click on the candidate login or CEED 2026 Scorecard link on the homepage.
3. Enter your registered email ID and password.
4. Once logged in, your scorecard appears on the screen.
5. Download the PDF to your device and take a printout.
6. Keep multiple copies — institutes ask for the scorecard as part of their application.

CEED 2026 Scorecard Details

CEED 2026 Qualifying Marks

CEED 2026 Merit List and Tie-breaking

IIT Bombay releases a single all-India merit list for CEED 2026 based on the composite CEED score. Only candidates who clear the Part A cutoff appear on the merit list. If two or more candidates get the same composite CEED score, IIT Bombay resolves the tie in this order:

1. Higher Part B marks — the candidate with more Part B marks gets the better rank.
2. Higher Part A marks — if Part B marks are also identical, Part A marks decide the rank.
3. Older candidate — if both scores still remain equal, the candidate with the earlier date of birth gets the higher merit rank.

This tie-breaking rule applies consistently across all categories. The merit list rank you receive is your standing for admission consideration at all CEED 2026 participating institutes.

What After CEED 2026 Result: Admission Process

Downloading your CEED 2026 scorecard is the first step — the real work starts after that. Admission to an MDes programme at any participating institute depends on their individual selection process. Here’s what to do next.

• Download your scorecard by July 31, 2026. The portal closes after that. Keep a digital copy and take a colour printout.
• Check the admission schedule at each institute. Visit the official website of every IIT, IISc, or IIITDM you want to apply to. Application deadlines vary and some may already be open or closing soon.
• Apply individually. Each institute has its own application form on its portal. Upload your CEED 2026 scorecard, mark sheets, and other required documents as specified.
• Prepare your design portfolio. Most institutes evaluate your design portfolio as part of shortlisting. A strong, well-organised portfolio often carries as much weight as your CEED score in the final selection.
• Attend studio tests or interviews. Shortlisted candidates are called for a studio test, written test, or personal interview at the institute. These rounds have significant weightage in the final admission decision.
• Check institute-specific cutoffs. Each institute releases its own minimum CEED score for interview eligibility — this varies by institute, specialisation, and category. Your CEED merit rank is necessary but the admission bar at top IITs is much higher than the CEED qualifying cutoff.
