BIT MCA 2026 Eligibility Criteria

You must meet all of the following eligibility conditions to apply for BIT MCA. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will have their candidature or admission cancelled at any stage — including after selection.

Academic Qualification

• You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), B.Sc. in Computer Science, B.Sc. in Information Technology, or B.Sc. in Computer Applications.
• Other equivalent bachelor’s degrees in computer-related fields may also be considered — verify eligibility from the official admission brochure.
• The degree must represent a minimum of 3 years of full-time education after completing Class 12 (10+2 system).
• You must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in your qualifying graduation degree.
• Candidates from the SC / ST / PwD categories need a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.

Mathematics at 10+2 — Mandatory

• You must have studied Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level.
• This is a hard requirement. Candidates who did not have Mathematics in Class 12 are not eligible, regardless of their graduation marks or field of study.

Final Year Students

• Students currently in their final year of graduation in 2026 may apply provisionally.
• Final marksheets must be submitted by October 31, 2026. Provisional admission will be cancelled if the minimum marks requirement is not met or if documents are not submitted by this date.

Distance Learning
