BBM or Bachelor of Business Management is a 3 year undergraduate program. BBM Admission takes place both through entrance exams and through a merit-based process. The final selection of the applicants in most colleges is done through a WAT and PI round.

BBM course eligibility is that candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria which states that applicants need to clear their 12th boards in any stream and must have secured 50% aggregate marks. The student must have English as a compulsory subject to get admission to top BBM colleges in India.

BBM Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The BBM eligibility criteria states that -

  • Candidates have to successfully pass their 10th and 12th board exams in a relevant stream from a recognized educational institute.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 levels, in case of merit-based admission.
  • Candidates have to qualify through entrance exams to get permission for admission to the BBM course, conducted on either University or National level.

Ques. Can we do BBM after 10+2

Ans. Yes. Anyone who aspires to pursue the BBM degree must complete their 12th standards successfully and pursue the program in graduation.

Ques. What is the salary of BBM?

Ans. The starting salary of a BBM graduate usually starts from INR 3 L per annum. However, with experience and expertise, it may reach INR 30 L per annum.

Ques. Is maths compulsory for BBM Admission?

Ques. How is the IPM program at IIM Rohtak?

Ans. IIM Rohtak has been ranked at an impressive 12th rank in NIRF 2023 rankings. People have doubts about joining IIM Rohtak as it stands below the top IIMs. However, IIM Rohtak is rapidly growing and achieving new heights and you should not worry about choosing IIM Rohtak for your studies. The IPM is a 5-year integrated management program at IIM Rohtak. On completion of this program, you will receive a BBA+MBA degree. If you attain a 5.0 CGPA in your first three years, then only will you be eligible to continue for the next two years for your MBA. Otherwise, you will exit the program with a BBA degree with a CGPA not below 4.0. Even if you wish to exit the course after 3 years, you can do so by informing the office within the stipulated time in the third year of the course. Instead of joining another institution for your BBA and then trying for IIM A/B/C through your CAT, you should join the IPM program at IIM Rohtak. Even if you do not score as much in your CAT, you will have the backup plan of completing your MBA from IIM Rohtak (in this case you will get a single CAT attempt in November third year). Most students from the IPM program at IIM Rohtak give their CAT or GMAT in the third year. So if you wish to switch to another higher-ranking IIM or go for a foreign MBA, you can do so. The IIM Rohtak campus offers all the facilities to its students and you will also enjoy life at Rohtak in general. Rohtak is only 70 km away from Delhi so the international airport is only an hour or two’s drive from the IIM Rohtak campus. Ans. IIM Rohtak is a very newly established IIM that has yet to make its place in the IIM family. Because of its recent establishment people deem it not worthy of the IIM tag. But in reality, it’s gradually picking up pace and by the time its first batch will graduate (2024), it will have climbed the ladder higher.  People think the IPM program offered by IIM Rohtak is a backdoor for people who want to escape the CAT exam. In reality, most of the students plan to give CAT or GMAT or both at the end of their third year. Even if one compares Rohtak and Indore, we can clearly see that Rohtak is way ahead of Indore. The first batch placements of Rohtak are better than Indore.  Some consider the lack of connectivity and cost also a reason why Rohtak is not worth it. But let me shed some light on this matter. Rohtak is just 70 km away from Delhi. The International airport is just an hour or two 's drive from the campus. So the connectivity issue is resolved here. As far as the cost is considered, one should not underestimate the 5 years he will be spending at an IIM campus with top-notch facilities and the most learned faculty and brilliant peers. All the investment is worth it. The final decision is yours to make but does remember that IIM Rohtak will have climbed the ladder in just a few years.Read more

Ans. My brother had his interview at IIM Ranchi last year for IPM. His 10th marks were 95% and 12th (PCB) marks stood at 78.4%. His interview was scheduled for the afternoon. He was welcomed by 2 male panelists who seemed quite comfortable and asked him if he had had lunch before appearing for the interview. Then they asked him the following questions  10/12th marks  Favorite subject (PS: I said biology.) Why did you choose IPM after having biology? How would these subjects complement you? What is the difference between gray and white matter? (Brain) What is the function of the vitreous humor, and where is it located? What are the different enzymes secreted by the pancreas? Name the smallest and largest bone in the human body. (Location as well) State the “Second law of thermodynamics.” Define E=mc^2 CM of your state. Any current official statement made by him. What is your hobby?  From the above list of questions, we can boldly say that the majority of the questions are aimed at testing your general knowledge. Ques. Can I expect a placement after studying BBA at NMIMS??

Ans. The placement scenario is quite good at NMIMS Mumbai. According to the reviews online, they provide ample opportunities for jobs in MNC’s. Lots of reputed companies visit the campus during their placement process choosing the deserving candidates. Hence the competition is usually high. But the one thing that students have shown their concern about are the salary packages offered. The data in the website is said to be inflated to attract more candidates. But in a more true sense the salary packages are really less than portrayed. The college claims to provide an average salary package ranging from 15-16 LPA, mostly the students are offered 9-10 LPA. The course BBA is really good and full of opportunities, but it is suggested that you complete MBA also to get a better salary package from a reputed company like KPMG, EY, American Express, ICICI Bank, etc. They have a highly experienced faculty, so  you will get to learn a lot.Read more
