Chitkara College of Pharmacy Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am choosing this course for better job opportunities and after the study job is easily found in any pharmaceutical company. The teacher-student ratio is 1:10 . I mean 1 teacher is provided for the 10 students.

The best opportunity for placement was excellent because the best companies arrived like Cipla, mankind, sun pharma, etc.. and give the best package for the selected student. The highest package is 1800000 and the average package is 500000. My plan after getting my Degree is to have 2 years of experience in any company and after our own business.

In the 7th semester, the students will eligible for campus selection with all back papers clear or pass. Many big companies came like aristo, alkem, Cipla, sun pharma, and many more. A minimum of 85 to 90% of students get placement and a maximum of 97% also.

Students are eligible for campus placement offers in starting of the 7th semester. So many companies are coming to the college campus for placement like sun Pharma, mankind, etc. The highlights package in college campus placement is approx 1000000 to 1200000. The average package is 4lakh to 5lakh.

The university claims to give placements to everyone but the average salary is between 4-5lacs. The students from the 6th semester become eligible for placements and internships. Many minor companies visit the campus and only few major companies like Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered by the university is 37lacs. The lowest can be 4lacs. My plan after getting the degree will be to work and complete my master's.

Postive remarks- good infrastructure, good quality of education, good faculty, good seniors, good exposure with doctors and patients Negative remarks- internal exams are very hectic as 6 papers of 90 marks each has to be given in continuous 6 day, 75% attendance is compulsary else one will be barred from giving internal exams

I have given JEE-Mains, I scored 45 marks because I haven't took coaching. I opted for Mechanical Engineering because I'm too much passionate for Mechanics and Chitkara University is nearby to home and you get good exposure there.
