Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi is an integral part of Amrita group of Institution. It was established in the year 2005. It offers B. Pharm, Pharma. D, M. Pharma and Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Application form can be filled online by visiting the official website of the university.
For B. Pharm and Pharm.D programs, candidates are required to have passed PUC II/ 10+2 in PCB or PCM/ Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Board with 50% marks (60% for Pharm. D) in aggregate.
Selection is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the qualifying examination followed by an interview conducted by Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi.
M. Pharm and Pharm D (PB) admission require a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with 50% marks in aggregate.
Selection for M.Pharm and Pharm. D (PB) is based on the rank scored in GPAT.
For Ph.D., the candidates must have obtained M. Pharm degree from any recognized university.
Ph.D. admissions are offered on the basis of score in the written test followed by an interview. Students with valid score in UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET or INSPIRE (DST) will be exempted from the entrance test.

Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi B.Pharm Admission 2024

Amrita School of Pharmacy offers B. Pharm program at UG level. Candidates seeking admission must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks. Selection is based on the merit of the qualifying examination followed by personal interview round.

Key Points:

The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum is 23 years to apply for admission in this course.
Candidates with Diploma in Pharmacy are eligible for Lateral Entry admission in B. Pharm. Total 6 seats are offered in this mode.
The candidates must have studied any language among English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Tamil, Malayalam or Telugu to apply for this course.
Students appearing in their final year of examination are also eligible to apply.

Amrita School of Pharmacy Pharm D Admission 2024

The school offers admission to a five-year Doctor of Pharmacy i.e. Pharm D course to those candidates who have passed PUC II/ 10+2 with PCB/ PCM. Selection is based on the entrance examination and interview conducted by the pharmacy department of University.

The institute also offers a two-year Pharm D (PB) to those students who have passed B.Pharm with 50% marks in aggregate.

Amrita School of Pharmacy offers an M.Pharm program in different disciplines of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The candidates planning to take admission in this course must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.

Selection of the candidates in this course is based on the score in GPAT.

Amrita School of Pharmacy offers Ph.D. program in various disciplines at Doctorate level. The candidates who wish to pursue Ph.D. in Pharmacy must have obtained M. Pharm degree from any recognized university.

Ph.D. admissions are offered on the basis of score in the written test followed by an interview. Students with valid score in UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET or INSPIRE (DST) will be exempted from the entrance test.

The last date to apply for Ph.D. program is May 20.

The candidates who have qualified GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET or JRF or Research fellowship are eligible to take direct admission in the Ph.D. program.

Amrita School of Pharmacy Application Process 2024

The candidates who are planning to take admission must register on the official website. However, the candidates seeking admission in M. Pharm and Pharm D (PB) have to register online with a valid GPAT score. The candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned steps:

For Online Mode:

Visit the official website and fill the online available application form.
Pay INR 500 for B. Pharm, INR 1500 for Pharma D. and INR 1000 for M. Pharm and Pharm D. (PB) through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking.
Submit the application form after verifying all the information provided by you.

For Offline Mode:

The candidates can either download the prospectus and application form online or obtain the same from the university’s campus.
Fill the application form correctly.

My college experience

Admission:

I applied for different colleges but due to the better course available in Amrita School Of Pharmacy,I chose B.Pharm over here. Amrita also have good NIRF rating so I thought Amrita would be a good choice for my studies. Some college's did accept my application. But those colleges was not in my state. Admission process of Amrita was convenient,first of all we have to attend an entrance exam ( AEEEL) on which you will get a ranking and based on your you will be alloted to the respective courses. The overall admission experience was good.

Life at Amrita

Admission:

I applied for BSc nursing and B Pharm in Amrita . And I got admission in Bpham.I didn't apply for other colleges but I visited one college for taking admission.And their infrastructure was not good also there was no adequate lab facilities. For taking admission in Amrita we should write a entrance exam conducted by Amrita university.We can apply for the entranceexam in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham website.

Admission:

I applied for different colleges like VIT but due to the better course of b pharm available in Amrita I choose that and there was better nirf ranking of America I did get rejected from few colleges due to my low c u e t Score for admission test conducted by Amrita.

Life at amrita

Admission:

I applied to different colleges across india and came to a conclusion that amrita would be perfect for me . Getting into amrita is not tough compared to other exams the entrance exams where easy and good . I got seat in amrita first and so this became my priority and after the admission here i got into another collages across india but before that amrita was my choice .

I had graduated from Kerala University of Health Sciences. They had delayed my result publishing as a result i had lost opportunity to apply to various institutes such and Nitte Manglore, LPU, and SRM chennai. The admission process to Amrita School of Pharmacy was very fair and square, application is done online via their official website. Elligible applicants are notified via email and they are interviewed by the principal online. The selected candidates are then notified via mail.

We didn't had any entrance exam. We only had to clear interviews. But from 2022, they introduced entrance examination. You have to clear it to get admission at Amrita school of Pharmacy. I haven't written the exam.
