The college give nice interships for students because i have talked to seniors which are passed out as well as getting pass out this year their experience is amazing the have urned money. they get help from faculty to start their startups .

moderate simple college life

there is no such details, but in JD, there is a 200% placement rate because there is literally 6 to 7 kids which is very easy to get for internship, but for other specialisation like fashion design or fashion communication, let's internship rate, but there is at least a 95% internship rate, which is good, it's dependent on the kids work and how they do or excel. Some people get really good internship. Some don't it really depends on the work you're doing. There is nothing in the hands of the college, but if you do a good work, I think you can easily get like a good internship.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent in the college. Companies like Reliance, Puma, Raymonds etc visit our college for recruitment. Internships are undertaken by each and every student and this experience helps them land a job

Placements and job opportunities are provided only to the deserving. Companies select on the basis of your talent. I have done internship but i myself found the job on my own. In internship i got Rs 10,000 per month.And i have done it for 6 months.

The placement record of the SOFT is above good.I haven't go for placements as i want to start my own boutique but mostly students get placed and they are offered good amount of money.Average package of around 5LPA. Internships are also provided but some have to find companies for doing internship when collage doesn't provide one.

In terms of placements and jobs, SOFT invited various companies and designers houses every year oi their annual placement events to help students get placed and start their careers. Apart from that colleges also train their students for interviews and with their Resume.

The work opportunities for this stream are in design houses, export houses, buying houses, merchandisers, hand loom sector, fashion stylist, fashion coordinator, fashion consultant, costume designer.Most of my seniors are well placed in these positions and i also got placed in Fashion stylist.The low package will be 2-3 LPA.
