- The college is situated in North Campus of University of Delhi that will give you a great exposure of Companies located nearby.
Dislikes
- The college is yet to bring good opportunities for students like field visits, studio visits, practical workshops and internships.
Placement Experience:
The college has really more to do with its placement cell because students are not getting opportunities as they expect. The companies which come for placement drive are from limited domains and they also offer very normal package.

- The environment is very safe and interactive.
- The infrastructure of DSJ is also very nice
- Teachers here are highly qualified and have efficient knowledge
Dislikes
- The fees is a bit high as compared to other DU colleges in North Campus
- There is no canteen in college causing inconvenience to students
- The college does not provide any transportation
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible from 4th year to sit in placements. Famous companies like NDTV, News 24 , India today, ABVP,etc comes for placement. Highest package was 1200000 per annum and 300000 per annum is average package. Profiles offered are reporter,research executives, content creator, anchor, field reporter,etc
I will go for anchoring after completing the degree.

- We have the best faculty of the journalism, our college has a good reputation and well designed academic environment.
- Campus life is very good here, we have too much for social interaction as it is helpful for our field and our course curriculum also help us to interact with people.
- Infrastructure of the college is also very good and it has different media houses, editing rooms, studios to give us a good exposure.
Dislikes
- Placements can be improved more as it is growing every year. the gaps between the classes can be reduced to avoid time wastage.
- Hectic timetables sometimes may lead to frustration for students. Many times the classes are scheduled as there are no breaks and sometimes it is like there is a lot of gap, so this lacks uniformity.
- Facilities for sitting areas and canteen can also be improved and the cleanliness of the areas can also be done better.
Course Curriculum Overview:
curriculum is much relevant for the students as it has comphrensive media training of different formats of broadcast, multimedia journalism, giving us practical projects to learn more, there topics are very contemproary. The curriculum is industry relevant, it teaches us how to be fit in all the aspects for the industry. It has a good reputation and integrated structures for the students. They also teach on the real world application to make us more productive and asset for the industry.

- Delhi School of Journalism is the only college in India that provide comprehensive journalism bachelor's studies. The designed course way towards practical learning and skill enhancement. Moreover, the brand of Delhi University always backs the DSJ.
- DSJ is a college that allow the student to learn basics of all fields of Journalism from news writing, reporting, anchoring to photography, editing , Public Relation, etc. It helps the students to obtain the skills of research and creativity.
- Being in the North Campus of Delhi University, the students themselves get a great level of exposure along with diverse opportunities. The course, knowledge dispersion and exposure are really good at Delhi school of Journalism, Delhi University.
Dislikes
- There is no permanent faculty at DSJ, all teachers are guest faculty result in very disturbed schedule. Along with the Adminstration of college is not that much effective and workaholic. DSJ needs more attention from Delhi University to develop.
- Currently the status of campus placements are very poor.. Not a single proper placement is done by the college. The college outreach and brand value is still at its zero level. Students have to suffer of unemployment in their last year.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The designed course of Delhi School of Journalism, Delhi University aim towards practical learning and skill enhancement of the students. The course allow the students to learn about each and every aspect and field of journalism, making students masters of all.

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. If you exit your college after bachelor you might get placement from outside campus.

- College infrastructure and campus is very nice.
- The nearest metro station is at walking distance

- The campus is a bit smaller than the other colleges in DU
- The societies are not very much active as the other colleges.
- There is a lesser number of choices in the subjects.
Placement Experience:
The placement rate as already mentioned is very good in this college as most of the pass outs from the college are working in several media houses such as ABP news, NDTV and others. Also, there are a lot of internship opportunities in the college while you are studying.

- Helpfull Senior's behavior helps very much for future preparation and job seeking in college
- Best part of this college is that its in North campus so your can enjoy all colleges fests.
Dislikes
- Campus is quite cool , modern and recently made , but its very small.
- There are not much courses in this college, hence you will not get crowd in this collage like others.
