The admission process at the college begins with the release of a merit list. The faculty is generally well-qualified and supportive, although some teachers are noted as unhelpful, affecting attendance. The department's fee structure is higher than others due to practical room and machinery costs, with fees ranging from approximately 8,000-9,000 rupees in the first year, 9,000-11,000 in the second year, and around 16,000 in the final year. Admission and exam fees are about 4,000 rupees, with concessions available for students with proper documentation and good attendance.
The college offers two scholarships: the Vivekananda Scholarship, which requires at least 75% marks in high school and a family income under one lakh rupees, and the Kanyashree Scholarship for financially challenged female students. While job opportunities in the stream are promising, the placement performance is poor, with only one or two companies visiting for recruitment. The college does not organize internships, and although the stipend is satisfactory, it is often delayed.
The college does not offer stipends.
