Government Polytechnic Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Some companies are l&t, usha Martin, jindal and balaji. The highest package is 4lakhs around and average package is around 1.8lakhs . 1-5? students getting placement. My plans after the getting the degree I want to attempt d2d exam .

Students can apply for placement after the 5th semester. Companies like L&T, JINDAL STEEL, POWER LTD, and HCL come to college for placements. The average package offered by the companies would be 12000 rupees and the maximum I have heard is 22000. It is not fixed but almost 60% of students get placed. My plan is to get hired by some company and work for a while and then we will decide after that.

From semester 6th students are eligible to appear in placements examination and interviews. Several Companies come to our college like L&T, Jindal Steel Power Limited, Jindal Steel Works, Usha Martin, etc. Several students get placement who have had taken their Branch papers more seriously and have well prepared for the interview.

Approximately 10 to 25%students are getting placement. Companies like Larsen and Toubro limited Usha Martin, Jindal steel visit this college. The highest package is approximately 5 lakh and the average package is approximately 2 to 3 lakh. I go for a higher degree because of not enough placement in this college.

In the final(third) year or final(6th) semester got a chance to give placement tests and interviews from various companies like L&T, Usha Martin, JSPL, Super Smelters, etc. Highest package ranges under 5Lakh and lowest is slightly higher than 1.2 Lakh. Placements depend upon students internal knowledge. So some year it's higher and some year it may be lower but not zero. I have my plans to get higher education.
