Must Go for Tezpur university

Likes

Tezpur university focuses on interdisciplinary studies and research driven education. It has modern infrustructure, well equipped labs and a dedicated faculty.
The university campus itself is a pleasant and picturesque. Itis full beautiful trees and it's guaranteed to be one of cleanest places you would ever visit in your life.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about this University.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th sem students bacome eligible for campus placement. Tech mahindra, intel, Siemens visited for placement. After getting degree i did a job in it company and now 7 years running and I am still doing

A brief description about Tezpur University

Likes

Campus is developed a lot but need to develop more some of the places are not developed yet…
Some teachers are too good at everything teaching and all but some teachers are too baised towards marks
There are many good courses available here and many unwanted course also and also assignments that has no work at all

Dislikes

Some teachers are too bad at teaching not able to learn what they teach in class there voices are not clear.
Many assignments are given frequently so we don’t get time to maintain a proper schedule for everything
Still many of facilities are not available in the university…lack of many advance technologies

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the course that I am pursuing here is "MCA". This course was first introduced in Tezpur university in around 1994 . This was the first university in Assam to introduced this course with respect to that and as well as many people suggested me to get enrolled here if I get a chance...as this university is very well know in our state and I didn't wanted to go outside of state for my masters... Many of the offered courses are related to real-world based scnerios and provides a good knowledge about how things works outside. Nothing much is needed to improve as many highly educated teachers and professors are present here...but the way of teaching of some profs should be changed as no one is able to understand what some professors speaks or tries to make my understand things. The way they teach is not appropriate as we are not able to understand the concept behind... The frequency and timing of the exam is all good as the exams are divided into fours parts so students have to study for the exams as because without studying no one can pass from here...as the exam sitting arrangements are very strict and observes everything...

Likes

I like the campus and the people and my hostel friends.
Faculties are very good. They are always redy to help when needed
Education is also good and fee structure is also less here in comparison to other universities

Dislikes

Some of the things like placement in our CSE department is less
Exams are taken very frequently. Student don't get much time to prepare for exam.
They give less importance to other activities like sports and events

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am good at coding and computer related works so i decided to take this Course and i have also dream to work in IT sector companies like Amazon, Microsoft, infosys, Tcs etc. But here exams are taken very frequently so we didn't get much time to prepare for other activities
