NSIT Patna Faculty

The college employs a diverse and qualified faculty, comprising over 250 members, including retired professors from renowned institutions and visiting faculty from esteemed colleges. Each subject is supported by 3-5 teachers, with qualifications ranging from B.Tech, M.Tech, to Ph.D., and some faculty members possess industrial experience and certifications. The college's teaching staff is well-regarded for their accessibility, responsiveness to student queries, and their ability to offer both hard and soft copies of lectures.

The college conducts a faculty review process based on student surveys, which influences faculty retention and replacement. There are approximately 180 teaching faculty, with each department headed by a HoD and supported by laboratory in-charges. While the faculty is praised for their teaching ability and cooperative nature, infrastructure limitations such as advanced labs are noted. Despite these limitations, faculty members are supportive in research endeavors, with some having strong research backgrounds that aid students in projects and internships with organizations like DRDO.
