- Candidates who have completed 10+2 level examination are eligible to apply for B.Tech.
- The admission to B.Tech is based on the score obtained in COMEDK UGET or KCET examinations
- Candidates who have completed BE/ B.Tech in related field is eligible to apply for M.Tech.
- The admission to M.Tech is based on the score obtained in KMAT or Karnataka PGCET or CMAT examinations
- The admission to MBA is based on the score obtained in Karnataka PGCET examinations and UG degree holder can apply for same.
PES Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2007 as Private Educational Institute and is located at Shimoga in Karnataka. PES Institute of Technology and Management is approved by AICTE, and affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

Eligibility Criteria
- For BE: Students who have passed PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry /Computer Science / Electronics/ Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category as per Government order) in the above subjects taken together.
- For BE (Lateral): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
- For admission under management quota, students should compulsorily appear in CET/COMEDK/JEE or any other entrance test for professional program.

- Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in COMEDK UGET or KCET Examinations.
- For management quota admissions, the admissions are based on the marks in qualifying examination, but the candidate need to have a valid COMEDK UGET or KCET score

- 3 stamp size + 5 passport size photos

- Migration Certificate (only for non-Karnataka students)
PESITM Seat Reservation
For B.Tech / B.Tech (Lateral) the seat reservation criteria is as follows:
- 45 % of the seats will be filled by Government of Karnataka through Karnataka Examination Authority with CET ranking
- 30% of the seats will be filled through COMEDK
- 25% seats through Management quota
- In addition to sanctioned intake, 10% seats are allotted under lateral entry quota
- Also, 5% seats are allotted by KEA under Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) as per Govt order
- Few of the students are allotted by AICTE under PMSS quota for J&K students
