The college is awesome and has got vast library that is the centre point of attraction for all the students. I developed reading habit and that helped me improve my answers in the examinations. The campus infrastructure needs some improvement.

The alumni network is not that active. The placement cell needs to be made more active. The faculty is very good. The infrastructure can be improved so that the students can learn better. Overall the college is awesome.

Admission process is easy. H.S.S.L.C/12th Std. or Equivalent Examination in Science having 45% marks in Aggregate and 50% marks in the subject in which Honours to be offered OR 50% marks in Aggregate if the subject is not offered at the (10+2) level.

Admission is based on the marks you obtained in 12th boards. After your name appears in the list you shall be informed by the college. Then you need to visit the college in person and fulfil the requirements.

Admission is approved by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. You can get admission directly with proper counselling. You need to be eligible though, and have a minimum aggregate of 55% in H.S.S.L.C/12th Std.

The process of admission in Shillong college is merit based. Based on the 10+2 result the merit list is prepared. The aggregate obtained should be at the least 50% . I always wanted to pursue Zoology in my higher studies and hence I filled up the application form for Shillong College as it has a good name of rendering great knowledge at a very low expense. The marks mostly concerned were chemistry and biology, although a similar emphasis was given on other subjects. The merit list prepared on the basis of marks was published and accordingly I got admitted to this prestigious institution.

I always wanted to opt for physics and hence, just after my 10+2 results were out I filled the application form for Shillong college as it had the eligibility criteria of securing at the least 50% in aggregate. It is the best college in the city with an affordable fees structure. According to our results a merit score was given to us. Greater emphasis was given on the subjects maths and physics for Physics Honours students. Two lists were published based on which I got admitted to the college.

Admission process is pretty straightforward. If you had good grades in 12th grade it is easy to get admission in my college. I had pretty decent grades in school which came to my advantage in getting into this college. Although some courses are said to have entrance examinations.

My overall experience at Shillong college was refined by excellent student community and faculty members. The activities held regularly also helped me to move outside my shell. The only thing to improve about the college is regarding the job opportunities and internships. Besides that this college would give you the college life experience you've always wanted.

Our college is the best in the state when it comes to joining BBA. If anyone wants to join they don't have to rethink. It is the best college to develop with right amount of discipline and knowledge combined together
