MAIMS Faculty

The faculty at the college is highly qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees and others having completed M.Com degrees with significant industrial experience. They range in age from approximately 27-46 years. The teaching methods are exam-centric but provide practical insights, with lectures typically scheduled 4-6 times a day, each lasting an hour. The faculty is supportive and approachable, with a student-to-faculty ratio ranging from approximately 20:1 to 60:1, promoting personalized attention and interaction.

Despite occasional strictness from some faculty members regarding assignments, the overall faculty-student relationship is positive and helpful. The faculty encourages extracurricular activities and practical learning, contributing to a balanced curriculum. The exam structure includes mid-semester and end-semester exams that are generally considered manageable, with internal exams contributing 25 marks and external exams 75 marks to the final assessment.
