Calicut University Distance Education MBA Admissions 2025

Calicut University provides admission to eligible candidates to the MBA program. The eligibility for an MBA degree is a bachelor’s degree in any field. The course highlights are as follows:

Eligibility

For MBA, any candidate with a UG degree in any field with at least 50% marks is required. Those who are eligible must appear for the entrance exam.

Selection Process

To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must appear for CUMAT, i.e, Calicut University Management Aptitude Test, and are given admission on the basis of marks scored in the same.

How to Apply for Calicut University Distance Education 2025

To apply for any UG course or PG course at Calicut University Distance Education, candidates need to apply online on their website. Then submit the printout of the filled application form to the college with enclosing the required documents. The steps are:

1. Log in to the website of the School of Distance Education.
2. Go to online registration.
3. Click Sign Up and enter the details of your Aadhaar Card, E-Mail, and Mobile Number.
4. After successful registration, Sign In using your Aadhaar card number and email ID.
5. Select the course and fill in the required details.
6. Upload your photo in JPEG format and select Submit.
7. Then, you will be directed to the payment window. Pay the required amount. (The fees must be paid online only.)
8. After successful payment, take a printout of the application form.
9. Send the application form with required documents to the Director, School of Distance Education, University of Calicut, Calicut University, P.O., Malappuram-673635.

Documents Required to be submitted with the UG Application

• Original Challan receipt for the required fees.
• Original Transfer Certificate of the last institute studied,
• Original and self-attested copies of Qualifying Certificate and Mark lists.
• Self-attested copy of SSLC/Equivalent for proof of Age and Date of Birth
• Copy of Aadhaar Card.
• Community Certificate, if eligible for relaxation on the basis of cast.
• Those who do not avail the facility of spot admission should enclose a self-addressed envelope (without a stamp) of size 30cm x 25 cm.
• Those who have completed Plus Two through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) should submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the University of Calicut.
• Visually challenged candidates should submit a Medical Certificate.

• Original Transfer Certificate of the last institute studied,
• Original and self-attested copies of Qualifying Certificate and Mark lists (degrees)
• Self-attested copy of SSLC/Equivalent for proof of Age and Date of Birth.
• Community Certificate, if eligible for relaxation on the basis of cast.
• Those who do not avail the facility of spot admission should enclose a self-addressed envelope (without a stamp) of size 30cm x 25 cm.
• Those who have completed a Degree from Universities outside Kerala should submit an equivalency certificate obtained from the University of Calicut.
• Visually challenged candidates should submit a Medical Certificate.

For Spot Admission

The Calicut University Distance Education Centre also provides candidates with the option of Spot Admission. For this, candidates can submit their applications along with all the required documents directly in SDE. They should remit INR 60/- as spot admission fees. The original certificates of these candidates will be returned on the same day after verification.
