Ans. Yes, students in the final year of their graduation can be admitted to the online distance learning courses at SCDL, Pune through provisional admission. However, they must submit the degree and graduation final semester marksheet once received or before the date specified by the institute, along with other necessary documents to confirm their admission.

Ans. No, the students must avoid sending any original documents to SCDL, Pune. Only photocopies signed by the student should be sent for the verification process; or they may come to the campus along with the signed self-attested copies/original documents for the verification and submit the same to the SCDL Competent authority at the campus.

Ans. Students seeking admission at SCDL, Pune can obtain an online form from the campus. They must refrain from ordering the form by post as the institute will not be liable for return/loss of the form.

Ans. The fees must be paid at once for some PG Diploma and PG Certificate courses only. For most of the courses at SCDL, Pune, the fee must be paid in two installments-

• First: at the time of admission
• Second: after 45 days from the payment of the first installment/before the last date.

Installment option closes 15 days before the last date of admission.

Ans. The student is informed of the status of his/her application form through an email by SCDL, Pune. He/she receives the ID Card within 10 days of processing of application. The study Material is dispatched within 4-5 days after the payment of the complete program fee However, provisionally admitted students are not given ID Cards until their admission is confirmed.

Ans. Yes, you can apply for a change of category from International / SAARC to General during the continuation of the program at SCDL, Pune. However, the program fee already paid will not be refunded. If you wish to change category from General to International / SAARC, you will have to pay the difference in the program fees in INR or USD (as per prescribed exchange rate) and submit the photocopies of the valid visa and address proof.
