Summed up the College

Likes

We have eminent faculty. The faculty is very cooperative and understanding. The overall building of the college is well maintained and provides many facilities such as library, lab, and office staff is very familiar.

Dislikes

Only thing I disliked is there is no phone facility like any time we call at the office phone , nobody picks up the call

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Commerce degree provides various useful information. I always had keen interest in Commerce and pursuing bcom degree helped me acquire a vast amount of knowledge related to commerce, accountancy, Economics, Financial Management and Mathematics. It helped me grow in commerce field very well.

Likes

The size of the classrooms is pretty nice.
Courses in this college is very affordable. The ratio of boys and girls are75:25
You can focus on other courses along with your college as the attendance percentage is low.

Dislikes

The campus is smaller than other colleges
No regularity of classes. Sometimes the syllabus is not even completed
The location of the college is not so pleasant

The exams are of 3 hrs I always wanted to study about business that influenced me to opt for this course. The exams are not so difficult if the student have even a little idea of the syllabus. He/sShe will pass

Likes

you don't have any attendence issue you can only go for exam and for documentation
college fests or freshers party it was good
we have celebration for some festivals such as saraswati puja

Dislikes

there is no placements or any opportunity from college
we get late notifications about notices or any information
no summer internship was started or anything

I choose this course because I was in commerce in school and I want to do my own business so it will help in future as i am in 2nd semester so the 2nd semester was too early because we just finised our semester in exam in april and we got to know subjects in august and now we have exams

Likes

I liked the Faculties and my seniors behaviour
The size of the classroom and the capacity of it.

Dislikes

The ground area of the college is very small
Some of the Water coolers are not in working condition

I am currently pursuing B.com and I choose this course because of it's very easy to study. Teachers are non punctual & most of the time they are absent. Our class exams are taken every month and semester exams are taken after every 6 months

Likes

Better nature and staffs and highly effective courses
College is better for b.com and have much educated teachers than other government college
It is located near sealdah station which is best for them who don't wanna travel more for s college

Dislikes

Canteen is not much clean and the foods are almost junk food
College guard are not much strict some time another college student gets enter to our college

Basically the surendranath college is known for there b.com specialist coz they have good teachers and the plus point is they help in our exams time too to score good marks in exams The exam paper are hard but we score good marks because teachers of surendranath college are good

Yeah one thing I want to tell you that. pls change the fan of the classroom

My college fees varies from year to year, per year fee is 6000 and for the whole course it is 16000 to 17000, there is also a scholarship which is given by our college which is government sponsored that is 12000 per year, and I think it is much lower than any other college

I liked all the things was happened in my college
Every function was happened in college like Saraswati Puja
Every year they doing fresher party for new joining students.

Dislikes

Nothing was there which disliked in college

I choose this course because my 12 background was commerce and I build my career in commerce field. Faculty student ration is very good they are very friendly with student. There teaching methods is very good there teaching methods is very good.

The faculty is vey commendable and good and respectful.

The teaching staff was not good enough and irregular.

I choose bcom because, firstly it's an undergraduate course which leads to a wide variety of options for other job roles in the future. the exams for bcom are conducted twice a year and it's neither difficult nor easy to pass it's like if any person has studied then he/she can pass the exam.
