Stella Maris College Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Many students from my class and in my entire college are placed in top MNC's. 1000 + students got placed in campus recruitment itself. Average package the company offers for a fresher would be 6LPA. I have a plan of doing masters.

The teaching methods of faculty is good. The curriculum that influenced this particular course is that, my aim is to do work in a marketing firm and do business in future. The management must focus on syllabus since the syllabus is so hectic

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relatable and comprehensive. The reason behind me choosing this particular course is the balance between theoretical and practical knowledge. The course is well aligned with the real time practices of the companies.

Placements are very supportive to the students and percentage is to get above 65% then only we can apply for placements .Before we attending placements.college will conducting training program for 15 days so it's very useful to attend the placement and students will be have an idea

After completion of your 2nd yr , they provide you free training by personalized training and placement agencies .In the mid of 5th semester the placement process starts . Max 80 -90% students will be placed in reputed companies. Stella serves the best incase of placements .The starting salary will be around 3Lk/P.a with better roles.

I choosed to pursue B.com General at Stella Maris for its technology and its resources. The faculties there have a excellent qualifications and experience in the institution. Good teachings can significantly impact our academics. Comimg to the infrastructure they have libraries, computer labs and also a study space etc. Coming to the fees of Stella Maris it is a medium expenses.

The placement cell plays major role in Stella were most of the students get job while leaving the college with good pay. Usually placement is conducted only during the third year. Before placements there is also training which is provided by the college to Excel students

Placements preparation starts in the mid of aug i.e 5th sem. Every individual who have scored 60 or above 60% are eligible to apply for placements. But everyone applying cannot sit for placements unless they attend 3 out of 4 weeks mandatory training arranged by the placements officers. 99% of the co are conduted within campus and only one or two companies make arrangements at their locations. Stella aims at giving equal opportunities to everyone so no individial is permitted to sit for placements once they are selected. Some of the co include, Deloite, E&Y, ICICI, Zomato, Accenture, WellsFargo(WF), World Bank, Barclays, KPMG, HP, BNY Melon, ect. and apart from these some schools and NGOs. The highest package co I had attended was Barclays worth 9L annually and and avg pack of these ranges from 33k to 38k. Only a few of the co expect candidates to have 75% or + and no present backlogs. Most of them were virtual, and includes three phases- app-GD-Interview. My plan! I am selected at WF.

The placements of our college is pretty good.The final year students are eligible to take their placements.80 percentage of students got their placements.If a student takes a good score in their subjects,they are directly selected for their placements
