Ready and choose wisely

Likes

The washroom and classroom is clean and tidy the view from the classroom is awesome but sometimes it's a distraction
The surrounding environment is clean and green there are many trees in the campus which gives friendly vibes good campus to spend time with friends and enjoy after lactures
The teaching is quite interesting and interactive the teacher make the students understand and they maintain a friendly nature with students and support students in need

Dislikes

The fees structure they take gym fees but no proper gym facilities are available to the students
The college timings they close the gate at 8:30 but teacher are taken in even if they reach late and students are kept out for coming late they should increase the time and make it 9
The canteen food is very expensive and costly and the quality and quantity is given is very low

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but it's little difficult to understand sence it provides different courses in Frist year for students and the main course starts from second year so the first year is a waste of year .if curriculum gives master degree than it can be considered as good . They should conduct internship so that students gets opportunity to earn along with studying.

Likes

Canteen: has various options which ranged from breakfast to lunch. Also the service was on point and had different modes of payment.
Campus: it’s spacious! Ample space to walk and chill.
Smart boards: classrooms are equipped with the latest screens.

Dislikes

Parking lot: even though it’s big, it’s always crowded.
Office staff and facilities are not up to the mark
The 2nd floor sealing of the commerce block was leaking

Course Curriculum Overview:

Note: I was the old course student and recently the education system has changed and is called NEP which was introduced in 2023-24. I would say thr NEP system has several advantages as compared to the old course. First being the relevance.

My life about st Xavier’s mapusa Goa

Likes

I appreciated a lot of things such as the environment and how every religion is treated equally and there is no discrimination on any basis of caste creed and color , I still feel that there should be a lot of improvements on the teaching skills
The quality of the infrastructure is normal but they could improve on the toilets and the classrooms with better projectors as most of the classrooms were dirty and had almost no fans too which never worked and it used to get hot easily
My engagement with the campus life was rather good and it was very easy to make friends but if you don’t know the language which is Konkani then it can be a bit difficult at times but it’s not mandatory to know Konkani

Dislikes

I disliked the 15 minute interval as it was very short for us students and we need at least 30 mins for moving around and eating something
Some of the staff weren’t so good as they are very rude or have some attitude

Course Curriculum Overview:

So far the course is good but it does get difficult if you don't study at least one hour a day , you have to study and make notes yourself so that you can be prepared and answer all the questions and help the other students who have doubts in whatever they want

Likes

Teacher was so helpful even they help financially
The are so friendly you can share anything with teacher without any any Hesitation

Dislikes

Not all instruments of laboratory available that is required for experiments
Campus is not too much big but that is kk and principal is too strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good but they should not include other subj with core subjects like I was microbiology student but I studied microbiology chemistry and botany till 2 year if these subjects remove so we can study more subjects related microbiology and everything is okk and they should maintain laboratory and keep required instruments

Remarks:

The college management is helpful and will hear out all problems and try to iron out the issues faced by the students. But occasionally the management can take decision that don't go down well with students, such as issues related to parking, attire and discipline rules. Certain teachers tend to go overboard with discipline and tend to pull out students for the slightest of errors. But these matters are usually resolved early and do not hamper the course of learning or the college experience in any way.

The College infrastructure is really good with the ground,there are gymkhana facilities,there is an awesome library with a lot of sections,the teachers are very active and teach the concepts well,the college has various activities/events like Arena,Microvista etc
