The teachers for the English honours course are really good and the way they teach helps us to understand the novels and poetry in a very easy way and the projects they give also helps us to understand the in book writings very well.

I've been a science student in secondary school but for my graduation I've selected the English Hons course because I've good in it and it'll be way to much easier for me to handle it and complete my graduation.

The course curriculam is very up to date according to the latest syllabus of calcutta University that its under.And along with the theoritical subjects theres a quite bit of emphasis put into the history of the language so id say by analising that and the arts wriiten by various authos over the century prepares us quite a lot to face real life Problems.The exams are very timely as well.

The duration of the classes are 1hr. The English Hons major teachers are good they are helpful. The other teacher are also good. They help you when you are needed. The teachers asks questions in the class to make you ready for exam. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on semesters.

This course was choosen by me because I want to pursue my career as a professor. But honestly, bangabasi college need to work on their faculties. They are neither responsible nor regular, except a few of them . There is a massive irregularity in classes .

First of all the college I have chosen here is one of the famous colleges in Kolkata Region. As a honors student I would like enhance my studies and skills properly during the college hours and I saw that the faculties and the facilities are also well equipped for the Honors students. Apart from that it is near to my house and I won't have to make a long journey to go to the college and it also saves my time from the daily life style. These are things that I have thought before taking the admission.

No doubt a lot of students get their placement in past time . Teachers helps everyone to get a better placement in their future life.

Well the placement in this college is not good because very few companies comes for placement...well after 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements...some companies like TCS and ICICI who comes for placements well as i belong to English department i don't have a knowledge about the packages being offered to the students ....the percentage of students getting placements are 25% as few companies come for placement...now coming to my plans after getting the degree i will be pursuing Masters in English since i want to continue studying in this department

I've seen no such company coming there as we are not yet passed out. But there came a company for training and they've making us approached us to go through a course from where we can learn about job details and computer training. And theye told us that when we people will get a opportunity of a job, this course will surely help us.

They are all good and management is quite well. There are many talented students.
