Under Dr. Sreedevi, the Microbiology faculty was noted for its effectiveness, though this has reportedly declined in her absence. The Biotechnology faculty mostly has a botany background, while the Chemistry Department faces challenges, with inadequate teaching leading to an 80% failure rate in semester exams. Students are eligible for campus placements in their final semester, supported by college training. Major companies such as Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys participate in placements, with 90% of students securing jobs.
Students can also pursue online certificates from NPTEL, Coursera, and edX, or engage in on-campus certificate courses, skill enhancement programs, and foreign language learning. Scholarships are available only for underprivileged students. The course fee is 20,000 per semester, with additional examination fees.
