Each year, we all dance together during a festival called blitz, which is pretty enjoyable.
The college has many scholarships for bright students like the apj abdul kalam scholarship for pol science students.
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

It happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
No real time projects in the course- there was very less learning as they had the fixed curriculum which needs to be followed and no real time or interesting projects related to the course
The faculty member is good but not better than my expected level

Infrastructure is good in my college and the faculty is also too good , nature of teacher overall is okkk
Canteen food is also good in my college .. and canteen infrastructure including their services all the things good

Dislikes

Nothing I don’t think that there is anything in my college which I disliked

Satyawati college is great college

Likes

It have separate auditorium Building and cyber library
The satyawati college have large playground
The satyawati have a large mess with Ac facility

Dislikes

The mess food is high and quality of food is low.
College don't maintain hygiene in food of mess.
College gym is not good no advance equipment

The bcom hons course is tough and it's exam level is based on syllabus and practical basis.they teach us with real life example the teaching methods of satyawati college teacher are awesome.they teach in friendly form .

The teachers who teach are really experienced
Air-conditioned canteens and library are available in the college which is a good part

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark and is not what expected from a college
Sports facilities and extra curricular activities are really less than expected

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated placement cell for placement purposes. The average package for b com hons is around 3L-4L per annum. The highest is around 16 L per annum in my knowledge. Various types of companies show at the time of placement such as Paytm, Amazon, etc. There is a minimum of 7.5 cgpa required to sit in the placement for the college

Well i liked the campus of my college as it is full of greenery all over
College societies gives many opportunities for internships and jobs
Senior professors are very talented and they have lot of knowledge

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be improved and use of new technologies should be initiated.
Office work should be done more faster as it waste the time of students as well as college faculties
Canteen food should be improved and also the ambiance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am persuing bcom honours. And truly speaking i am so into my course just because it helps me to tackle the real world problems. This course is designed in such a way that it in the first year we get to learn accounts, law , economics, hrm etc as our core subjects and in the second year we learn cost accounting, company accounts, international business and may more subjects which really helps to understand the day to day life problems.

Location is the main reason why i like my college .
Area is student oriented and restaurant nearby gives discount to student.

Dislikes

The campus area is little smaller than the expected.

Satyawati College - The Offcampus

Likes

Ground as it includes cticket pitch,gym,kho kho area, volleyball and many other sports.
All the sports equipments are available in the college and can be used by submitting the ID card.
The crowd is also nice as students from different states are there

Dislikes

The hygiene is not good as its a givt college so.
No water is aviable in the washrooms and they are not clean.
Professors sometimes cancels the class and message about the same when we reach the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCOM HONS is most desirable cousre in Delhi university and it is rated as best course in the university. The faculty of Commerce in satyawati college is nice and working. It is nest faculty in the entire college.

Overall the department of Commerce have been very nice of this college compared to other departments even the fresher that happened, the commerce dptments fresher was the best among the all. The teachers of commerce department are also very supportiv
As said before the Auditorium of this college is one of the biggest in DU. So that’s a plus point too.

Dislikes

The crowd of this college has not been very nice.

Placement Experience:

I dont have very much info about the placements of this college as i am a fresher but there are students who gets placed through the placement society of this college. The highest placement of last year was around 7.5 LPA. Avg was around 4 LPA

I am currently pursuing bcom hons from satyawati college, university of Delhi and I am in my first year. We have 80 students in our class and girls is to boys ratio is 60:20. Faculty is highly qualified and cooperative. Teachers are extremely kind and helpful.

Satyawati - the underrated college of DU

Likes

I liked the library as all the books are available.
Faculty is also very good and knowledgeable.
Auditorium - as it is the biggest auditorium of delhi university.

Dislikes

I didnt like the canteen.. hygiene is not proper and dismanagement too.
The ground is small and also other activities ground or space is also missing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing CA along with college so I opted for bcom hons as this course is related to CA so it provides me with some ease. Student ratio is somewhat 60:40 of boys and Girls respectively. Factulty of my department is wonderful and i don't know much about other departments but to my knowledge faculty of all the departments are just very good. Almost all the teachers are phd holders and some of them also have completed professional courses such as Charted accountants. Teaching method is the typical old style only- blackboard and chalk. Practical exams are till now are of moderate level not much difficult to clear.

The sport's facilities is very good and infrastructure
College has separate Cricket ground this is very good thing
College has a big bike and two wheeler parking

Dislikes

There is no car parking in college we park car outside
Canteen food is not that good for the students
Teachers are not understanding to sport's students they don't give attendence

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
