Each year, we all dance together during a festival called blitz, which is pretty enjoyable.
The college has many scholarships for bright students like the apj abdul kalam scholarship for pol science students.
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

It happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
No real time projects in the course- there was very less learning as they had the fixed curriculum which needs to be followed and no real time or interesting projects related to the course
The faculty member is good but not better than my expected level

Overall, it is a good college.

Likes

The infrastructure of satyawati college is very good.
The food of canteen is quite affordable, hygienic and delicious as well.
Professors are knowledgeable and helpful.

Dislikes

There are no placement opportunities available.
Condition of washrooms are not good. No water available.

I have done bcom programme from this college. This course is best in the way that it opens the doors for various paths, for example, CA, CS, CMA, Mcom, MBA, etc. So this course is relevant for almost every commerce student in today's time. Though the course curriculum is good, there are some improvements needed in teaching methods. Teachers should relate the topic with real world to give better understanding of the curriculum. The frequency and timing of exams are fine. No improvement needed in these.

Teachers are well behaved and polite towards students
College provide with internship programmes
College provide scholarship to students.

Dislikes

College must work on Infrastructure as it needs to be done
Lack of sports in the college and no coaches available for different sports
Lack of events doesn't place any good event in college

The time provided for the examination is sufficient to complete all the answers and there is an examination fees before exam which is not more than rs.2000 . Overall examination is conducted very well .

College quite satisfied my expectations

Likes

I really love the academics of my college and the faculties pf my college are very knowledgeable
The campus life of my college are amazing....my college have various societies in which we learn a lot
The infrastructure are quite good and auditorium are awesome

Dislikes

The classroom are too short and not have ac in classroom
Some societies are very dominating that's why some students hesitate in front of them
My college also have some wi-fi problem and I want to work on this problem

I choose bcom program because it develop business skills and help to understand the business management that's why I choose this course. I want to improve in this course that this course doesn't have practical training

The campus life is good as the north campus is nearby from the college it's just 4 km away from the college so u can go there and enjoy fest and all
College infrastructure is also good. There are 2 buliding old and new. Clg classes held in both bulidings.
The clg has separate library for both Morning and evening students.

Dislikes

I think clg canteen food taste should need some improvement
The clg should provide wifi facilities in the college
The clg should start doing fests like other du college's

Placement Experience:

The avg package for bcom course is 6-7 lpa. But many students don't take placement from the college as they want to continue their further higher studies. U can do internships as it will help u to get your future job opportunities.

the faculty is very understandble and helpful
the auditorium which fully funcitional and maintained
the sports room , gym and ground is neat and clean

Dislikes

the furniture and the rooms of our college are mostly broken
the college enviroment is also fishy sometimes
the administration is sometimes rude while performing the tasks

in terms of relevance and comprehensivess the curriculum of our college is good and teaches accordingly . the curriculum helps in solving real world problems , it teaches tally and other software which helps in getting jobs , etc . the timings of our exams are from 9 am till 12 am

Very satisfied to choose satyawati college

Likes

The college infrastructure is really good having its own playground
The college have its separate auditorium building
The college have its own lift , cyber library etc

Dislikes

The quality of food in canteen is not too much good
The price of food in canteen is high to afford

I have opted for bcom program as my stream in 12th was commerce,but if you want to opt other than your stream then you can go for.The curriculum of satyawati college is well designed it includes practical as well as theory knowledge.

My college faculties is really good like every department is very good at its own.
I liked that my college provide extracurriculars activities like we have different societies where you can follow your interests.
One thing the most important all teachers are well qualified and according to fees it any student can study here.

Dislikes

One thing i disliked that every student dreamed of exciting college life but my doesnt organise big fest . I mean yes fest are organized but not in that grand level.
I think the infrastructure could be more better especially the classrooms.
Placements is one of thing that my college provides but not very high its like average like around 3lac to 8lac

Placement Experience:

My college placement is not that good it doesn't mean no placement but not high packages. As a student of b.com i also want good placement but sadly it doesn't provide 100% placement. Placement are there which goes from 3 lakhs to 7lac approx.

sataywati college is very prestigious college

this college is very big and one of the best colleges among du and yet fully equipped with all the updated technolgies
this college provide refreshment area and student activity area for hang out and those hang out areas are so big and fully furnished
various activtites room are their in college and and all the outoor and indoor faciltites are provided

Dislikes

but the one thing is not so good that is thier du lubrary . students size is large and chairs for sitting are not that much there .

Placement Experience:

its not true that renowned national and international firms like KPMG only visit top colleges like HINDU , KALINDI OR SRCC . campanies also recruit from satyawati college though the no of placements may be relatively lower .

satyawati college is a progressive college

Likes

one of the most `compact collges of du yet fully equipped with moern facilities
our refreshments area ad student activity area are the best and probably the best hangout space as well
a recreational rooms is started now and has table tennis,chess and other sport facilities

Dislikes

library is too small as sitting area is just for 50 odd students at a time

Placement Experience:

its not natinalised and international accounting firms like KPMG and others go to HINDU OR SRCC. they take students from our college too . yes the ration is less but still i think 30-40% students are placed through campus with an average salary of 5 lakh or around

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
