Suitable review

Likes

The college campus is very beautifull and very attractive.
The teaching staff is very friendly and helpful.
The course is helping me in my personal as well as proffesional development.

Dislikes

The problem of sanitation is the issue in this college .
There is the shortage of non -teaching staff.
The hostels' mess food is also not good .

The students become eligible for placement in thier final year. The companies which visited are college for placements are nescafe,tata, ayurveda etc. The yearly package is 1700000 and the average package offered is 700000.

Likes

The overall nature of the college is good.
The college are pretty nice and understanding.
The college campus is broad and is well maintained.

Dislikes

I personally do not like my economics teacher
The placement rate of the college is very poor
The college ground is very small and it can not accomodate much people at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum courses and activities are okay and not about what I would like to appreciate.The activities are decent and one can learn from them also ,but they are a bit kiddish. The college should improve its cultural fest and other fun activities which are held

Life at MCM

Likes

A lot of seminars, workshop etc took place in the college at all times.
Open conversations in the classrooms was observed under almost all teachers.
All the necessary things can be bought within the campus.

Dislikes

Some professor lacked the ability to teach. At times they were just reading out the notes instead of actually explaining things.
The admin people were hard to deal with at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite outdated and lack practical exposure for the students. The exams can last upto a month. Exams are not too tough but the marks depends highly on the examiner and no matter how well you write the exam they will give you a low score. There is no subject marking scheme.

Likes

College infrastructure is very good. There is proper cleanliness in our college. All the faculty members are well maintained. Teachers are well educated according to their required degree.
There are also placement opportunities are available. There is a proper placement cell.
Campus Life is good. And also in account of social interaction it is great.

Dislikes

Tables in some classes are bit small and little uncomfortable .
There is restriction in hostel in time and out time. In time is just till 6p.m.
Hostel fees is little more as compared to hostel infrastructure and facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because I am interested in doing management course further so I have done bcom. This collage provide very good study too. Student ratio is as expected. Members and staff is very good and cooperative.Term exams are done after 6 months and exams are not so much difficult to pass.

MCM DAV - A GREAT CHOICE

Campus life ,greenery and regular seminars and events
Latest technology computer and well equipped Libraries

Dislikes

Work and assignment burden as of implementation of more subjects as per nep 2020

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only reason that I choose this college is the infrastructure the campus life event and speciality provided by the college the college provides latest technology computers for BCA students libraries with great source of books .The only suggestion that I want to give is to reduce the burden of assignments on the student as we are giving Less deadline to complete

Likes

The working of college procedure is very smooth
Campus Life is great with all kinds of facilities and interactive activities
The faculty is highly qualified and experienced

Dislikes

Timmings are a little issue as college starts at 8:30 am

Detailed knowledge of the subject is provided. But it can be said that syllabus is sometimes quite lengthy but the teachers to their best to improvise the best they can and in depth of what they teach.

The environment of the college is extremely peaceful for studying
The faculty is great, like the teachers are knowledgeable.
There are various seminars most everyday along with the classes that one can attend if has a free lecture wuth i think is extremely nice became its great for skill enhancement.

Dislikes

The communication is not ckear to an extent . Like the important notoces go unnoticed by a lot of students because they dont get the information on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Along with the subjects as your majors you can opt for extra credit subjects and the variety of subjects offered in that is great. Although can be said that the timetable might be a little hectic one wont get much free lectures. Most your day will be occupied and back to back lectures.

If ut is for academics only then this is best college

Likes

Faculty of college is very friendly and helpful.
Cafeteria area is goof they have several canteens and everything in food is availble
College has great ncc and nss opportunities

Dislikes

College infrastructure is poper and not well maintained.
Cocurricular activities and clubs are not very active also events barely ever happen
Placement opportunities are very less and package on placement is low.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placememts from 5th semester. Usually companies that visit college are not many. As stated placements were supposed to be very good but are not in reality. Very less placement and internship opportunities available and pakages are not really good.

Likes

The infrastructure is overall good. Desks are quite comfortable and there is availability of projectors in every class as well.
Being a girls college, there is every facility for every girl that she needs. From sanitary vending machine to salon, i loved everything.
The teachers are quite friendly and cooperative as well.

Dislikes

There's nothing that i I didn't dislike about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing english honors and this college is best for this course and i am thoroughly satisfied with my choice. The whole curriculum is best. The frequency and timings of exams are absolutely fine and not so difficult.

MCM MY DREAM COLLEGE

Likes

The teaching staff was very helpful and friendly
The college ambiance was very aesthetic and the canteen was very clean
Its a all girls college so made a lot of good friends

Dislikes

Since it was a girls college there were a lot guys outside the college gate however police was always there and eventually they stopped their entry
there were one or two teachers who were kind of mean to some students without any reason

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are wide range of subjects to choose from such as economics, geography, mathematics, music political science and so many other subjects compulsory subjects are also there as I mentioned in last paragraph it gives a good theoretical knowledge however i feel there is a less of practical knowledge provided there is a very less of real world application ! MCM works on panjab university standards
