I know a few people from RGPV, and based on what I heard from them, I will say that it’s true that academics are not up to the mark at the institute. During semester exams, students use the Shivani book to pass the following technical courses (which includes questions from the previous 20 years). This prevents you from building up concepts.

Now the placement of the institute is also not that good. The recent placement statistics for the institute are as follows.

Spending four years in RGPV with a 91 percent grade in class 12th would be a waste of time and effort. So, rather than doing B.E. from RGPV, It would be advised to pursue any other option if you are planning to pursue Engineering in the EC branch.

It depends upon the placement cell and their relations with the companies. Various companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro, Persistent systems, and other top companies are the consistent recruiters from the University Institute of Technology, RGPV with good CTC.

UIT RGPV provides internship opportunities with AICTE based virtual internships in this pandemic. Students participate in project-based internships and work with MNC's as an intern to get product based knowledge.

LNCT is recognized by AICTE and NBA and is affiliated under Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. It is ranked 251 among top institutes for BTech among NIRF 2020 Rankings. In 2019-20, a total of 964 students were placed in top companies.

UIT RGPV Bhopal has highly experienced faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV).

Admission Details

• Students must have secured 60% marks in their 10+2 qualifying exams with a valid score in JEE Main for BTech admission.
• Students applying for postgraduate courses should have 60% in their graduation in BTech or BE.
• MTech students will be selected on the basis of GATE rank.
• The final selection will be based on the entrance exams.

• The top recruiting companies include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, Microsoft, Oracle, Mu Sigma, Godrej, Reliance, IBM, L&T, Google, HP, Dell, Infotech, etc.

Facilities 

UIT RGPV 

• They have hostels, libraries, laboratories, auditoriums and canteens.
• The other facilities include all time internet connectivity, central computer centre, guest house and transport.

LNCT 

• The campus area is 45 acres.
• Separate hostels of boys and girls are available with all the basic necessities like canteen, public phone, cold drinking water, hot bathing water, etc.
• They provide 85 busses for students for easy transportation.

LNCT definitely has a better placement record than UIT RGPV Bhopal. The highest salary package offered is 19.5 LPA by LNCT whereas UIT RGPV Bhopal, their highest salary package offered is 10.05 LPA.
