Likes

the environment of the campus is very peaceful and also the campus has very much greenery.
the coding environment in our college is very good
the faculties here support us for every project also the management has given us freedom to explore new fields

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

we have good campus placement and almost every student gets a decent placement the average package is around 6.5lpa , if no placements are offered then there are many off campus opportunities available in the market so students can master the skills and create an opportunity for themselves.

Good for Placements and Academics

Likes

Good Placements were offered in the last year of the course.
Faculty and Staff are quite helpful and competent.
We had a training and placement cell that were quite helpful in our placement process.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is average but seems outdated.
Laboratories doesn't have latest equipments.
Classrooms are also kind of average but campus is pretty good.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th sem, students get eligible for Campus placements and a CGPA of minimum 7.0 is mandatory for most of the companies. Many Companies including NRI Fintech, Deutsche Bank, Accenture, Incedo, ZS, Metafic, L&T, Truechip, Avalara, etc visited this year. Highest package was around 20 LPA for Avalara and avearge was around 6 to 8 LPA. From EI branch 80% students got placed this year.

Faculty are good with teaching skills and labs are also provided with different experiments on the basis of classes and subjects
E-cell teaches about FIGMA which is useful to create designs and different types of post
Different clubs like E-cell, culture club for the development of skills where they taught many different skills

Dislikes

Paint on the walls are not done properly as no attraction from college in the first view..maintainance on lookwise of college is not good
Sports court are not made properly only cricket ground is there, not basket ball ground not even badminton court
Not attractive college on the first sight of view

Placement Experience:

almost 90% student get placed,different companies like nuclie,zs associates,barclays, dice,wipro and many more which on average provide the package of 10-15lpa ,minimum package is 5-6 lpa ,students are able to give intern after 4th semester,as the also provide the intern break ,after 4-5 semester students become eigible for campus placements ..they have online exams with offline interview .no partiality of branch wise students ,everyone get the chance to take a seat in campus placements also criteria is according to cgpa. highest package is 27lpa

I love the campus very much all the departments have their own buildings.
It is university itself so we don't have to go to any other center for examination
Cultural fest Aakshank is also very popular popular celebs been invited

Dislikes

For sports facility the ground is too far.

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good in 2023 highest package is 22 lpa and average is 6 lpa and 90% of students were placed . College Placement cell also helpful in for your future guidance and do best for your Placement and bright future.

A generic review for the IET DAVV by a normal student.

Likes

The thing I like about my college is that, the teachers are good and teaches with precison and concisely.
The issue about attendance is not much, still teachers care about attendance.
College isn't too far from indore making it easy tranpsortation to many students.

Dislikes

Curriculum is not well designed... as most of the things are theoretical... practical knowledge is much needed.
The campus is not well.. it's just a huge forest... there are no playgrounds too.
The classes and the blocks are not well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am pursuing B.E. the subjects and syllabus are mostly theoretical.. making it easy to understand but the implementation part or practical depth is not well searched. The subjects are well relevant to the field and the exams are well conducted too but their is a need of practical insights.

Everything about my college

Likes

We do have a great coding culture within the campus which helps students to grow their skills.
We have lots of college clubs both in tech and non- tech which helps students for their overall development. Moreover, hackathon and competition
College do have min. 75% attendance criteria, but its not followed properly and students have a chill day most of the time

Dislikes

Management of the college is very slow and provide information at the end moment keeping students hooked.
If you want to play sports so you have to go to the main campus of DAVV which is 1 KM away from our college
No proper infrastructure of the college even after having lots of space within the campus.

Placement Experience:

As IET DAVV holds a good rank within the state, we do get chance for campus placements and company approaches the college in the 3rd and 4th year. For 3rd year students, internships are offered and for 4th year students, same companies offer job. There is a good record of placements from our college, specially if you are interested CS/ IT branch, you will always have edge over other branch students as companies provide 1st preference to CS/IT students. Packages are of very different range, they usually get starts from 3-4 LPA from mass recruiters to 20-30 LPA from companies like Zscaler. So if you have good skills and decent CGPA maintained within college, you don't have to worry about your future alot.

All About IET DAVV

Likes

The placement is decent and almost all student able to get placement in CS , IT and EC branch .
The best thing i liked in the college is there is not much load of assignment you get much free time to prepare for any other examination.
The attendence criteria is not much strict too strict and the faculty behavior is friendly . Seniors are also supportive

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not too good as expected from 2nd rank college in MP.
Mostly Lab equipment are available but not work at all . Lab classes are not helding properly
In recent Years the placement is dropped and college dosen't provide any internship.

Placement Experience:

The Student after 3rd year are elligble for campus placement . Many companies like Incedo , Deutche Bank , L&t , capgemini , ZS , TCS , Infoys , Volvo , Eicher and many more . More than 20 company visit campus .

My college has an lush green campus with lot of open space . Very much connected to nature .
IET DAVV has an incubation centre for supporting startups and ideas for the students .
Decent placement for all the branches . Even for mechanical and civil .

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not there, bad play grounds .
Less cultural activities and fests , during the semester .
semester goes very faster then normal usually ends in 4 months

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, you are eligible for interships in industrial companies like Barclays, Infosys, etc. and after the 7th semester campus placements are thier for the students organized by placement cell in the guidance of thier experience faculties. Name of the companies are barcalys , Dice , infosys, TCS etc . The average package in cs and it is 9 lakhs per year and for other branches its 4-5 lakhs per year. 80 percent placement rate. My plan is to start my own startup with my college friends.

Engagement with college life and quality of social interaction in college is very nice, when you want any help from seniors you can ask them.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are able to appear for the campus placement program. So many companies are visiting for campus placements like Accenture, cognizant, Wipro, Impetus, Deloitte, Capgemini, Vm ware, Nuclei, and many more.

EXPLORING IET DAVV INDORE

Firstly I get a lot of time to explore in my college
Less academic pressure as compared to other colleges
Exposure to many of the clubs and a lot of opportunities to participate.

Dislikes

In my opinion the infrastructure needs to be improved.
Need more lab faculties and more lab work for the students.
The college timings are not fixed and more focusing on thoery than on practical application.

Placement Experience:

Form 3rd year onwards only you are eligible for internships and after the 3rd year completion you can easily placed if you are having the required skills for the job. In these recent years the college provided a lot of offers to all the branches in IET COLLEGE. Average package was listed 4.5 lakhs. And the highest on campus was 28lakhs and off campus was about 56 lakhs. About 70 percent student gets placed.

If you are thinking to join the Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV, Indore, then it would not be an idle choice. It is better you take a drop and take coaching and then enroll in some other college.

Do not waste your four years of study in IET DAVV or SGSITS. You will graduate from IET DAVV with not a promising placement and salary package. Invest your time and money in good coaching institutes. If you work hard and ready to complete your further studies then your year will not be wasted.

IET DAVV has good Computer Engineering and IT departments as compared to other departments. So if you are thinking to get into one of these, then it would be a better decision.
As other departments of IET DAVV will not help you gaining and acquiring any knowledge.
Faculties of IET DAVV also don’t excel in critical thinking, knowledge, skills, and others. But they are very co-operative and help students.
As compared to other colleges IET DAVV has a good reputation.
Whatever you learn from IET DAVV is from its campus environment, cultural activities, and fests. These events and activities will help to gain leadership skill, boosting your confidence, and makes you a better person.

The IET DAVV staffs are friendly, they will get you books and e-learning materials. You will surely go to make good friends here.

What are the reviews of Aakshank IET DAVV over the years?

Aakshank is the annual cultural fest of IET DAVV which is organized in the last week of February every year. This fest has been conducted since 2000 and every year the level of the fest keeps on upgrading. IET has also conducted various rock concerts where they have called top celebrities like KK, Kailash Kher, Gajendra Verma, Euphoria, DJ Willy, and many more.

Aakshank is a fest in which a plethora of events are conducted both day and night. A few day events include Paintball, Zorbing, Burma Bridge, Stunt Mania, Laser Tag, Foot Zorbing, Pinball, Street football, Street cricket, Blind date, Foosball, Angry birds, Lan gaming, Xbox, etc. There are several other outstanding events which are conducted in the college auditorium like Inter and Intra College Dance (Naach), Singing (Vaani), Skit Competition (Adaakari), and Kavi Sammelan.

With the success of Aakshank every year, this fest is receiving many sponsors which will make the next season a big hit.

The celebrity performers are the major attraction of the fest. Though there is a ticket system. If you want to see the live celebrity performance, you have to buy a ticket for Rs. 100. Many other colleges charge even more than that. In fact, DJ night is also charged at various colleges. So, the budget point of Aakshank is quite pocket-friendly.
Aakshank has a larger crowd than any other fest conducted in IET whether it is Fluxus or any other minor fest. Even the enthusiasm in the crowd set the vibes to another level.
Apart from DJ Night and Star Night, there are many other adventurous events that are totally free of cost.
Every year, this fest brings something unique like in the year 2019, India’s best comedian, Zakhir Khan performed at Aakshank.
Not only the performers, but the participants are also very energetic during the events.
There is a special social media team who are made to share posts and pamphlets timely on social media to keep everyone updated. The creative team as well as a promotional team make sure to bring the best out of the fest by promoting the required content related to the fest timely.

For a student of IET DAVV, Aakshank is a big thing, it’s not just a fest but it's an emotion that each student lives. With the dedicated team, Aakshank is growing every year and will remain the best fest of Central India always.
