S.V.N College of Education was established in the year 2000. It was established by the endeavors of S.V.N. Educational Society, Hamirpur & by the courteousness of the H.P. Govt., H.P. University & N.C.T.E. Jaipur. It offers B. Ed. (intake 200), M. Ed. (intake 35), J.B.T. (intake 50) and B.C.A. (intake 40) for the students. S.V.N College of Education is accredited by the (NAAC) National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has state of art infrastructure provided with essential facilities for imparting quality of education. The faculty of the college is qualified and experienced in their field of expertise.

The admission in the college is on the basis of an exam Common Entrance test (C.E.T.) which is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Direct admission is not possible in college. |
