Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Tecnia Institute of Advanced studies offers three years regular undergraduate bachelors program in Business Administration, Computer Application and Journalism & Mass Communication. These programs are offered in the morning and evening shift mode. 

The basic eligibility for the UG programs is completion of 10+2 level with at least 50% marks in aggregate

• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel / Persons With Disability will have relaxation of 5% marks
• If the candidate is about to appear for final examination of 10+2, he/she can also apply for the UG programs. 
• Candidate must have a valid score of respective CET organised by IPU, to be eligible for the program. 
• As overall, there is an 85% of seats reserved for Delhi based candidates ( or else last graduating institution from Delhi) and 15% reserved for non Delhi candidates. 
• Reservation of seats has been made according to the following distribution: 
  • 27% for Other Backward Classes candidates
  • 5% for Defence background candidates 
  • 5% for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies UG Selection Criteria

• The selection of candidates for UG programs are done by counselling conducted by IPU University
• The schedule of counselling will be displayed on the University's Website prior to start of counselling procedure
• The candidates should report at the venue, on the given date and time for counselling/admission along with the original documents.
• The counselling processing/participation fee shall be INR 1000
• Candidates will be called in order of rank and will be asked to produce the required documents for verification. 
• Depending upon the merit, the seats will be given to the candidates, as per required availability.
• Admission Officer will give a duly signed Admission Slip after the deposition of the complete fee by the candidate. 
• Candidates need to check the details of fee paid, name, rank, program and other details on Admission Slip issued by the Admission Officer
• Candidates need to pay notified fee immediately on the spot at the time of admission.
• After this, candidate must reach the institute and complete the further process of admission by carrying the documents required (mentioned at “Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies - How to apply?” )

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies offers MBA and MCA program in full time double shift (morning & evening) mode. 

Specialisations in MBA program are;

Admission to MBA programs will be done on the basis of CAT score. And for MCA programs, NIMCET scores will be considered. 

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies PG Eligibility

• MCA applicants must qualify the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) conducted by the National Institute of Technology. 
• The University (GGSIPU) shall prepare the merit prepared on the scores of NIMCET and conduct the following procedure of selection and counselling. 
• Candidates opting for financial analysis in MBA program must have Mathematics at their 10+2 level. 
• Candidate must have passed their graduation from a recognised board or university affiliated to AICTE.
• Candidates must have a valid CAT score card for MBA admission.
• Final year students can also apply provided they get to produce their original documents by the mentioned date for verification purposes. 

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies PG Selection Criteria

• The selection of candidates for MBA/MCA programs are done by counselling conducted by IPU University
• Candidates must report at the venue with the original documents to the counseling centre.
• The counselling processing/participation fee shall be INR 1000
• Candidates will be called in order of merit rank and will be asked to produce the required documents for verification. 
• MBA candidates will be called on the basis of their CAT scores and MCA candidates will be selected on the basis of NIMCET score. 
• Depending upon the merit, the seats will be given to the candidates, as per required availability.
• The closing rank for TIAS Delhi for MBA & MCA are:
